Name: Jemima Lynette Age: 13 (but can be mistaken for 18) Occupation back home: school student Appearance: shortish brown hair, middle weight, pale skin, freckly especially in the sun Nationality: British Residence: Germany(Joint headquarter) for millitary. Moved from cambridge, england because dad's in millitary. Skills: author, reading, thinking, humourous Weaknesses/bad habits: my emotions get the better of me. I can be shy at times, I can be moody. Panicky and aruetive Frequent moods/expressions: I can be sadand angry or I can be funny and happy. Depends what happens. Once someone gets to know me I am quite nice and friendly. Quiet and shy with strangers. Reason for flight: To try and find my real parents because I was adopted when I was 3. My parents were travellers but retired in Australia. I was on the aeroplane with my adoptive mother. We were then moving on to america for a writing competitionhoping my realparents would come but unfortunately I was rejected by them. Item from wreckage: note book, pen, toy rabbit my parents gave me when I was 1 year old. (last two arn't real life just part of the story)

~Woohoo! My character's first flashback!~ ................................................................................... Jemima sat in the foster home miserably. She had no friends here. And worst of all she had no family. She watched the kids come and go with their foster parents. She picked up a magazine. But being 3 and all she couldn't quite read it.She threw the magazine down and then started chewing it. "No sweety, don't eat the magazine," the foster lady said and took it from her. Jemima looked at her with sad, wide eyes. The lady rolled her eyes and gave the magazine back. 2 more ladies came in as Jemima continued eating the mag and playing with blocks. "Aw! She's adorable!" one of them said. "This, mrs Jenkins is Jemima." "She's so sweet! And her parents?" "Didn't want her. They were travellers.Move around a lot. Not good for a baby." "Oh," Mrs Jenkins watched Jemima play, "If they ever want her back. If they want to contact her. I don't think I could bring myself to let her go." "Mrs enkins," said the foster lady, ms drew,"If Jemima's parents wanted to make contact with her. All they have to do is pick up the phone. 3 years and they haven't." "Then I've made my choice," smiled Mrs Jenkins confidently. She turned to little Jemima and held her mini hand," Hey there Jemima. I'm Meg. You're new mummy." ................................................................................................... ~END OF FLASHBACK~

~FLASHBACK 2~ zwei~
Jemima had been living with with Meg and her husband Dave for 9 years. She was now 12 years old and oblivious that Meg and Dave were not her real parents. Meg wanted it this way. She didn't want Jemima to feel neglected and to know her parents had decided to give her away all those years ago. She felt a pang of guilt though whenever Jemima called her 'mum' so she asked her at a young age to refer to her as Meg. And the same with Dave. Jemima always wandered why they wanted her to call them by their christian names. Especially so when she started school and all the kids called their parents 'mum' and 'dad'. But as she got older it didn't matter as much and figured it was because they wanted to feel young which was ridiculous because by now they were in their 30s/40s . It was on a school day and Jemima had returned home exhausted and so glad to be home. She threw down her school bag and entered the kitchen where Dave and Meg were sitting nervously. "Hello love," Meg smiled weakly. "Hey. I've had the worst day at school. We had this substitute teacher who was a right pain and-" "Sit down Jemima," interupted Dave, "We've got something to tell you." Jemima now began to worry. Usually they were all smily and cheery. She always wanted them to be happy. Always. "What's wrong? What's happened?" "Nothing's wrong," said Meg looking in to Jemima's hazel eyes, "You've just got to be calm, okay? Don't get upset." "Why?" she ordered. "You know Dave got that army job offer a while back but we didn't take it?" "Yeah...." she guessed this wasn't gonna end well. "I took it," Dave finished. "You..you what?" she felt anger. She didn't want to be angry at them. Never. "It's not a big deal, okay?" Meg said softly, "We'll get a new house and-" "A new house? We're moving??" Now she felt scared and anxious. Moving? "Moving where?" Dave sighed, "It's in Germany." Jemima's expression was not happy. Germany? Moving to Germany? Another country? A foreign country? What about her school? Her friends? Her life? The life she worked hard to build here? What was gonna happen? She hadn't even moved before and it scared her. It might not bother adults but for kids it's harder. It's different. She didn't like change. Dave and Meg stared at her while she processed this in her mind. The words echoed in her head. We're moving. We're moving to Germany.

Yeah, some is true. My dad's in the millitary but I'm gonna make it so Dave is in the army. I found out I was moving kind of like that. I couldn't stop crying, damn it! I wish I wasn't so sensitive. Anyway it's been a year and I'm more used to it now. Also, notice how I say anyway alot in my posts!?

We all are... but just think, 2 years in and you will be back and will see them properly again! And... one of my friends moved all the time when they were younger, and they HATED it. But now, they have gotten used to it, so when they go to university, it isn't a culture shock to them at all, and they never really get homesick, make friends easily... what I think I'm trying to say is, that seeing as you've already moved away, when you move away from your friends and family in the future, it will be easier to cope. And you've learned some German ;D

You feel crappy leaving your friends because it wasn't really your choice, but if they're true friends, they won't forget you. Change is hard, but time makes it easier. A wise man once said adversity makes you a stronger person, so don't be too downhearted. Everything happens for a reason. Okay, now i'm done being all wise and serious, back to the giddyness, mwhahahahahahahaha
