Good idea. Very well could be. But on the suit thing, I'm taken.

That's fine by me, they can pretend to have talked about it off-screen or whatnot.

Changed my mind, I think I'll send Ethan with Locke, Kate and so on to the caves to check it out. He'd be interested.

Going through all my characters....
Severin - Beach, beach, beach. He'll stay at the beach, since he has....no choice.
Ethan - He'll want to stay with Gwen at first, but later in the show we saw him in the caves. I think I'll keep him at the beach.
Cyrus - Since there are two Others, Ethan can watch the beach and Cy can fill Ethan's role at the caves.
Only Locke will come with in the initial trip to the caves.

So many tragic pasts. I feel even sadder that Ruth's dead, now. Great flashbacks....poor Gracie....

Well, Jack's already made his speech and we're about ready to move to the next day, so we might have to forget that scene if we want to get to Day 7 fast.

That sounds absolutely brilliant. Thanks very much for devoting your time to this sort of thing. It's a very helpful idea. I'm sure anyone on the boards will be glad to help you out.

I vote that we stick to canon on this one, and Joanna drowns like she did in the show. Unless my fellow mods disagree and think her role could be expanded for the rpg.

I think it would be a whole lot easier to keep Joanna as the character she was, a redshirt. Her only real function was to set off the series of events in White Rabbit. Also, I don't think the sub-marine was something the Others used for rather menial tasks. If they wanted Joanna, they had opportunity to take her. There was nothing special we know about Joanna, no reason the Others would want her, let alone go through the trouble of waiting in a submarine off-shore on the off-chance someone would swim out there. Even then, someone would probably notice a submarine coming to surface, pick up a dead woman, and submerge again. It's not that it's a bad idea, it's actually kinda interesting, but I think it's maybe an un-needed plot that would add a little too much weight to what's already going on.

God Almighty, that Donald post made me sad.....poor guy. Why must you build his character as sympathetic and then destroy him? Great post, though.

Unless anyone has anything else to add, it's ok to move on at Othersville now.

We're not going exactly with the show, but I think it would be best to keep it small. Locke, Kate....I'd like Michael to go, but he doesn't have to, and I guess at most three people besides Locke.
