yeah Mathew was alright, he seemed to get regular roles, not really letting him experiment, except for the professer one, that one was alright. The elevator one was probably the best of the show, and your right, SNL got kinda lame when Will Farell left.

Hehe. "I am a professor of...math history!" That one made me laugh because it's the exact opposite in my house; my mother's the math nerd and I'm the history buff. The "Mountain Man" sketch had promise, but just went on too long, and he did get to cut loose a little as a house DJ. He was so cute as a Mayan warrior, though--"I'm smiling, and I just can't stop."

Lol, yah, Foxy's SNL episode was okay. I just finished watching it. They only let him do about 3 skits though; possibly 4. Didn't see him much. The elevator one and the Mountain Man one were the best. hehe, the Mountain Man... can you blame the girls for doing that? It was something like: Foxy: (out of Mountain Man character): Wait, this isn't the same script as we rehearsed. Girls: (out of country girls character): Uh, yah, they do last minute rewrites all the time. So yah, just follow the cards. You have to kiss us again. Foxy: (ooc) Um, okay (back in character, reads cards) Okay ladies, I guess I haveta kiss you again, then I'll take off my britches and letcha get on top of me. (ooc) Wait, what?? Girls: (ooc) Yah, it's okay, go with it... and you can talk in your regular voice. And take off the beard... and don't forget to take off your britches. Foxy: (ooc) Wait, wait, wait, I wanna talk to Lauren about this. Lauren (one of the other female cast dressed as Lauren): Yah, we can go talk about it in my office and then make out. Hahaha, I was cracking up. Can't blame the girls, really. Btw, he never ended up taking his britches off, gorramit. And Bennyboy, I'll go ahead and make those new pics into avies for ya soon! Just gotta finish a few more things.

Totally random and off-topic from whatever y'all were discussing, but I just realized that Grace and Gwen wouldn't know the same Sign Language if Gwen is British. Grace knows American Sign Language, and in theory Gwen should know British Sign Language. The two are not one and the same, contrary to the popular belief that Sign Language is a sort of universal language for Deaf people. If ASL were close to being the same with any other SL, it would have to be French Sign Language, since that's where our Sign Language originated from in the 1800s.
The major difference between ASL and BSL is that the British use both hands to sign the alphabet, as opposed to our one-handed alphabet. /end Teacher!Kaye lecture

Hmm. Yeah, I was kinda' hoping we could...overlook that fact. But it's up to you, however you want to play it. I see how there could be possible miscommunication between British and American, but I'm not familiar enough to know the difference.

I don't think it's important, really. But if you want to get it right, perhaps Gwen learnt both kinds of sign language and more, since she's an air hostess and she's seen Julian frustrated by lack of communication with everyday people.

Yes. Let's go with Noah's explanation. I like it. It's convenient and it works beautifully.
...But I did say "in theory." I'm totally cool with overlooking it, because I'm a lazy bum like that. And Gwen, if you want to check it out, just Google British Sign Language and look at the alphabet. It's crazy! If I had to fingerspell like that I would die.

GAH! I'm trying not to pick up any more new shows... but then along came Heroes and it reminded me of X-Men so I had to watch and am thoroughly hooked. And now comes Drive with Nathan Fillion. How can I say no?
