"Willo?" she repeated, following the girl's gaze to where he sat off by himself. "Yeah, he seems nice. Bit too smart for his own good; I'd be careful there," she advised with a grin.
She pondered over her previous activities of the day, which had certainly been less eventful than the day before. And for that, she was grateful. "Nothing fantastic nor amazing, I'm afraid. Sorted luggage, worked on a crossword, gathered fruit, met some people I'd like to see again, met some people I'd rather not see again. Typical island activities..."
"No such thing as too smart. Too arrogant in one's intelligence, yes, but never too smart," Grace insisted. "If those are typical island activities, no offense, I'd rather be atypical. It sounds terribly boring. Which are the people you'd rather not see again, so I'll know to avoid them?" So what if she was looking for a little bit of gossip; she had to do something to fill up the time.

ERIK "A mango?" he said, with a disgusted look on his face. "Yeah, give it to me."

"No such thing as too smart. Too arrogant in one's intelligence, yes, but never too smart," Grace insisted.
"That may be," Gwen agreed, "but our Willo is an aspiring writer. So anything you do or say may be held against you in future scathing memoirs."
"Which are the people you'd rather not see again, so I'll know to avoid them?"
She laughed out loud at Grace's enthusiastic curiosity, then made an effort to think back through the passengers she'd already run afoul of. Granted, Gwen wouldn't willingly appoint herself judge and jury of anyone's character, but there were certain people she felt Grace would be better off avoiding.
She noticed the girl's notebook nearby. "May I?" she asked, gesturing toward it. She began to draw a quick sketch of a handsome man with longish hair wearing an expensive suit, labeling it with the name "Beau--self-absorbed, chauvinistic, smug bastard." Then she began another drawing of a thin woman with long hair, expensive heels, and angry eyes, identified as "Sarah--narcissistic, stubborn, high-maintenance princess. Also, ex-wife of Doctor Jack, FYI." She smiled as she handed the notebook back to Grace.
Then she nodded over toward Erik and Jake were talking, and began to sign again. "The man with the generous forehead and frustrated look--that's Erik. He's a Hollywood type. Could be good or bad. But the other one...that's Jake," she explained, turning back to Grace. "And he's a very good man. Has a thing for being a hero, and a stubborn streak a mile wide. But he means well."

***Sarah and Billy enter from G3-Beach and Shore***
Sarah walked over at the two girls knowing at least one of them: Gwen! They were standing close together giggling over two guys ... one of them the porn-movie producer and a handsome guy most likely his best stud. From the finger pointing and the judging look on Gwen's face the two girls could only be slandering. As Sarah and Billy came closer she could see that the strange woman was holding a notebook on the hand with the sketch of a woman on it, a poor one. "Nice drawing!" she implied meaningful looking at the two women with a faked smile.

VIVIAN
Walking into the camp she smiled and decided to warm up by the fire before heading to her own camp, she sat down by the signal fire and smiled letting the warmth take over her skin.

"That may be," Gwen agreed, "but our Willo is an aspiring writer. So anything you do or say may be held against you in future scathing memoirs."
"Me, get badmouthed in scathing memoirs?" Grace flapped a hand dismissively. "Please. I've already taken the necessary precautions and worked my way into his good graces, if you'll pardon the horrible name pun."
Grace grinned at the drawings and explanations. "Duly noted, and thanks for the warnings. Sounds to me like you might just have a thing for this Jake guy... I have to admit, he's not too hard on the eyes."
"Nice drawing!" she implied meaningful looking at the two women with a faked smile.
Oh, speak of the devil and the devil shall appear. Grace closed her notebook pointedly and set it aside, looking up at the woman Gwen had identified as Sarah and returned the fake smile with a look of innocence. "I can't understand what you're saying; I'm Deaf," she signed in Signed English -- American Sign Language signs in English word order. "And it's terribly rude to interrupt peoples' conversations, you know."

"Duly noted, and thanks for the warnings. Sounds to me like you might just have a thing for this Jake guy... I have to admit, he's not too hard on the eyes."
"I do not have a thing," Gwen protested. "And anyway, he's not my type. He's an optimist."
"Nice drawing!"
She winced inwardly at the sound of the familiar voice behind her, then turned with a cheerful smile, noticing with relief that Grace had the presence of mind to close the notebook. Clever girl.
"And it's terribly rude to interrupt peoples' conversations, you know."
Gwen stifled a laugh at what Grace was saying, aware of the confused looks on the faces of Sarah and her new companion. "Sarah! How lovely to see you again. And Grace just said that you surprised us," Gwen explained, signing as she made introductions. "Sarah, this is Grace. Grace, this is Sarah. I was just about to come 'round with food, if you wanted some."

Sarah gave Grace an awkward look as the girl was starting to wave her hand around. Even after Gwen had explained her to be deaf that view on Sarah's face didn't change entirely. She had never ever met a deaf person before and never considered how to react to one.
"Sarah, this is Grace. Grace, this is Sarah. I was just about to come 'round with food, if you wanted some."
"Nice to meet you ... Grace." she said with a stagnant voice lowering the sound of it in the end realizing that loudness wouldn't make any difference. She was clearly not feeling comfortable around Grace and visibly tried to hide that fact. "Actually we were looking for food." Sarah looked back at Grace with all her self confidence back on track. "And what were you looking for?!" she nodded over at Jake and Erik.

"Ahem." he said. "I'm Billy Ondrasik."
"Hello, Mr. Ondrasik. Nice to meet you," Gwen said, relaying the information to Grace as well. "Actually, you look a bit familiar. I mean, other than from the plane. Are you an actor or something?"
"Actually we were looking for food." Sarah looked back at Grace with all her self confidence back on track. "And what were you looking for?!" she nodded over at Jake and Erik.
She retrieved two mangos from her bag and held them out to Sarah and Billy. Following the direction of Sarah's gaze, she remarked, "Oh, I was just pointing out some people I'd met to Grace. Lots of passengers to keep track of."
She signed to Grace, The princess wants to know what we were looking for...

"And Grace just said that you surprised us," Gwen explained, signing as she made introductions. "Sarah, this is Grace. Grace, this is Sarah."
"Ahem." he said. "I'm Billy Ondrasik."
"Nice to meet you ... Grace."
That was quick thinking on Gwen's part, to purposefully misinterpret what Grace had said. After all, the last thing they wanted to do was insult the princess, eh? Grace continued with the poor-little-Deaf-girl act, pretending not to be able to lipread as the two others spoke. Instead she smiled again and signed "It's nice to meet you."
"The princess wants to know what we were looking for."
It was obvious Sarah was ill at ease, but Grace cheerfully continued her enthusiastic signing. "Tell her the truth; we're looking for a good-looking guy to keep us occupied in our tropic island paradise," she signed with a serious face so as not to give the joke away.

"Actually, you look a bit familiar. I mean, other than from the plane. Are you an actor or something?"
Immensely delighted someone recognized him, he smiled more widely, and moved closer. "Yes, actually. Mainly a stage actor and playwright. Have you seen Othello in London? Oh, and of course, it's lovely to meet someone from England." he said with a wide smile.

ERIK The man looked at the mango. He was more of an juice guy, anyway. He glanced over and saw Sarah had returned to this part of the camp. He looked to Jake with a smile, and threw the mango in the air and caught it.
"Thanks for the food," he said. "Now it's time for the dinner theater."
And with that, Erik walked over to the group that was hanging out with a smile, still tossing the mango.
"How is everyone doing tonight?" he asked. He had never had a mango before, to be honest. He didn't know how to eat one, but wasn't about to ask.

"Oh, I was just pointing out some people I'd met to Grace. Lots of passengers to keep track of."
Sarah looked back at Jake one second ... particularly his behind. "Yeah I see which tracks you follow. But thanks for the mangos." she smirked.
"Yes, actually. Mainly a stage actor and playwright. Have you seen Othello in London? Oh, and of course, it's lovely to meet someone from England." he said with a wide smile.
"He was great as Othello ... and he has good tracks too!" Sarah gave his ass a quick glance too till they all got interrupted.
"How is everyone doing tonight?" he asked. He had never had a mango before, to be honest. He didn't know how to eat one, but wasn't about to ask.
Sarah realized with upcoming anger that the Hollywood jerk was not sticking with his 20 yards death-zone around her. She glared at him with raised eyebrows. "I bet you haven't shot that down with your guns ... wait props, as I don't want the veins on your neck to burst!"

"Tell her the truth; we're looking for a good-looking guy to keep us occupied in our tropic island paradise," she signed with a serious face so as not to give the joke away.
Good answer, she signed to Grace. If only it were that easy...
"Yes, actually. Mainly a stage actor and playwright. Have you seen Othello in London? Oh, and of course, it's lovely to meet someone from England," Billy said with a wide smile.
"He was great as Othello ... and he has good tracks too!"
She nodded at Sarah's follow-up to Billy's answer, then focused on Billy. "I've been away from England for a while, I'm afraid," she replied. "But I still read Hello magazine. Have to keep up on all the news back home."
"How is everyone doing tonight?" Erik asked.
"I bet you haven't shot that down with your guns ... wait props, as I don't want the veins on your neck to burst!"
"Evening, Mr. Mason," she greeted, as he approached juggling a mango. When Sarah launched in with a tirade against him, she was utterly confused. "Sorry, I must have a missed a step. What guns?"

Good answer, she signed to Grace. If only it were that easy...
She seems the type who would be satisfied with that answer, Grace replied with a careless shrug. As the other man joined their group and seemed to get into some sort of disagreement with Sarah, Grace rolled her eyes and sighed. So much drama already! This is getting boring, so I'm going to pull the poor left out Deaf kid act and slip away unnoticed, she signed to Gwen before gathering up her notebook and mango and walking back towards her shelter.
*Grace exits to her shelter*

"I had prop guns, and she took offense when I tried to demonstrate the fact that they were fake and pointed it at her by accident," he said. He leaned to wisper to Gwen. "She's sort of a drama queen."

"I had prop guns, and she took offense when I tried to demonstrate the fact that they were fake and pointed it at her by accident," he said. He leaned to whisper to Gwen. "She's sort of a drama queen."
Sarah noticed Grace vanishing silently. She looked after her and then back to Erik. "Oh please don't give me all the credits. You did a good job at yelling and waving the extensions to your genitals too. And just for the record: This is the second time today you invade my surroundings and I walk away!" She turned around and followed Grace to her shelter. Hopefully she was not offended or something. Billy and Gwen could take the Heffner on there own.
