Erik walked out of his tent, frusterated. He sat down by himself, glancing around at everyone. He wished he had a ciggerette, even though he gave up smoking a while ago. He saw Sarah across the way, and gave her an angry glare.
He sighed and put his head in his hands. He wanted to be off this rock.

"Oh, you have been there?" Gwen remarked, in response to Jake's assertion that he had been to Graceland. "Well, then, you can tell me all about it. After you check in with Jack. Bon voyage, sailor!" She clapped him on the shoulder as she walked past him, leaving the water with him.
She paused to address Ethan before continuing on with her mission. "Thanks again; we really appreciate it," she smiled. "And I should really be getting dinner out to these people before they write something unflattering about me on their comment cards. I'll see you 'round, yeah?"
She began to walk over to where she'd seen Grace earlier, hoping to catch up with the girl and check in on her.

He paused for a moment, distracted by her eyes. "Oh, yeah, sure. I'll see around." he replied, turning to leave for somewhere else.

Grace had remained in the area all day, save for a few hours when the heat had sent her seeking refuge in her shelter. Now, in the coolness of the evening, she sat near the water's edge drawing abstract designs in the sand with a stick and absently biting a broken fingernail. When she looked around and saw Gwen, Grace smiled and hopped to her feet, going over to her. "Hey, how are you? I see you've been busy," she signed, relieved to be in the company of someone who knew sign language and didn't need pen and paper to communicate.
((just so Gwen doesn't have to go wandering all over camp to find her! = ] ))

((OOC: Very kind of you, dear. Gwen smiled as she saw the young deaf girl approaching her, seemingly in good spirits. "Hey, how are you? I see you've been busy," she signedShe laughed slightly, aware that some would say she'd been too busy. "Well, my job doesn't end just because we're off the plane," she signed in response. "Are you doing okay? How's the shoulder? Do you need anything--food, water? What about shelter?" She smiled sheepishly at bombarding the girl with so many questions at once, but it had been a while since she'd spoken with her.

"Somehow, with all that you've been doing, I don't think anybody would kill you if you took a breather," Grace signed in amusement. "I'm fine-ish. My shoulder still hurts a little, but that's normal, right? Shelter -- check. Water -- check. Food --" Was it a bad sign that she had to stop and think when she had last eaten? "Whenever the last time was that someone went around handing out food. I've been kind of distracted."

Gwen tilted her head in concern. "Well, then, dinner is served," she signed, and then handed her one of the mangos. "No knife or fork, I'm afraid. But maybe you can find a sharp piece of wreckage to slice it. We're still exploring, trying to find other food sources," she explained, trying to look hopeful.
"So...anything interesting happen since the last time we talked?" she inquired.

"Five-star dining, I see." Grace set the mango in her lap and continued to sign. "Thanks, by the way. I think I'm pretty hungry, but who can tell? Anyway, let's see. What fantastic and amazing things have happened? Um, I built a shelter, did some sleeping, ran into some crazy Tarzan-like dude out in the jungle --but I think I might have been hallucinating-- slept some more, and lately I've been talking to that guy over there, Willo. He seems really nice." When she finished listing off her activities, Grace picked up the fruit and found that she could cut into it with her fingernails if she didn't mind her hands getting slightly sticky. "So how about you; anything fantastic and amazing?"

She smiled, paying close attention as Grace described how she'd been spending her time, but frowned when she got to the part about a crazy Tarzan-like dude. Maybe Gwen had misunderstood. Or maybe that was their explanation for the trap that Jasmine and Sarah had been caught in. And maybe they weren't alone after all.
"Willo?" she repeated, following the girl's gaze to where he sat off by himself. "Yeah, he seems nice. Bit too smart for his own good; I'd be careful there," she advised with a grin.
She pondered over her previous activities of the day, which had certainly been less eventful than the day before. And for that, she was grateful. "Nothing fantastic nor amazing, I'm afraid. Sorted luggage, worked on a crossword, gathered fruit, met some people I'd like to see again, met some people I'd rather not see again. Typical island activities..."

HEIDI LITTLE SARAH Sarah smiles and continues to walk with Heidi into the camp, "Mr. Floppers thanks you too." "You're welcome, Mr. Floppers," I said with a small laugh as I scratched behind his ear. We arrived at little Sarah's shelter and I let go of her hand, crossing my arms against the cold. "Okay hun, grab your jacket. I'll wait right here for ya."

HEIDI "You're welcome, Mr. Floppers," I said with a small laugh as I scratched behind his ear. We arrived at little Sarah's shelter and I let go of her hand, crossing my arms against the cold. "Okay hun, grab your jacket. I'll wait right here for ya." Little Sarah nodded and Grabbed Her coat from her shelter, smiling she returned all bundled up and with Mr. floppers sticking out of her front pocket. Sarah liked to call it a Bunny-buggy. "We should get you jacket too, are you cold Heidi?" Than she had an evil thought pop into her head, she whispered into Heidi's Ear, "Maybe Cyrus can warm you up..." She just loved seeing Heidi get all red in the face.

HEIDI
"Wha-" I could feel myself blushing as I struggled for words. I'd learned that denial only led to more teasing. I was always so easy to blush whenever someone teased me about a guy, whether it was about a guy I was close to or not. In Cyrus's case, I didn't really know him and as of late, I was a bit leery of him, but I still managed to blush. I noticed little Sarah's expression. She was embarrassing me on purpose! "You little brat!" I said as I started laughing at myself for falling prey to her teasing. I knew by the fact that she'd whispered it to me that it was all in fun and that she was maturely respectful enough to make it a private joke between just the two of us. "Come here, you," I said, still laughing, as I caught her and started to tickle her again. "That's for making me blush," I said, tickling her and pausing for a second to say, "And this is for being too adorable to be mad at," I teased as I tickled her again.

Little Sarah
Sarah Howled with laughter as Heidi Grabbed a hold of her and Tickled her into submission. She liked this attention, Heidi was like a big sister. She reminded Little Sarah of a next door neighbor she had in Australia. She would always come over and play with Sarah and Mr. Floppers. She would bring lemonade and cookies. They would play all day long, they would have so much fun…
“ok ok ok, you win stop tickling me!” Sarah Smiled, “lets get your jacket.” Sarah smiled and Made sure Mr. Floppers was ok.

I stopped tickling at her request and watched as she checked on Mr. Floppers. "You're a bad influence on Mr. Floppers," I said, amusement still in my tone. I shivered as a cold breeze went by. "Yes, let's get my jacket." I took her hand again as we continued on to my shelter.

"Ah, well," she shrugged. "It would be lovely to hear a firsthand account. I've only seen pictures."
"Hear about it? You should go. It's like Disneyland for Elvis. Well, y'know, without the rides, of course. But without the screaming kids too. And a great way to spend a free day between flights, if you ever land there."
She walked over to her shelter and retrieved her carry-on bag, emptying it out before moving some of the mangos from the bag Jake was holding into her own. "I think maybe we should split up," she suggested. "Everyone's so spread out; we'll be able to get the food to people more quickly that way."
"Got it." Jake nodded, still holding his bag full of mangoes. "So one per person would be a good ratio to hand out, I think. As much as we can spare for a day. If we eat too many, there won't be enough to go around for the next couple of days until we're rescued."
She also held a bottle of water out to Jake. "Now I'm giving this to you on the condition that you will accept it graciously and without protest," she said. "Think you can handle that, Lieutenant?"
Jake put his hand on the bottle Gwen offered to him, and smiled. "Yes, ma'am." he said, giving her a small salute in mockery. "Thank you very much, miss flight attendant. Much appreciated." He took the bottle fully out of her hands, and then paused, thinking for a moment as a smile spread across his face. "Do you think later that maybe I could order some brandy, maybe a tequila next time? Water's kinda light for my taste. They served stronger in the bar at Graceland."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. See you around. Thanks for everything." he chuckled, and moved down the beach away from Gwen. Walking a fair distance, he spotted Erik near a shelter, and figured he could drop a few pieces of fruit while getting to know some of his fellow survivors, while asking around for Jack.
"Hey, Erik!' he called over to him, holding out a mango in offering. "Hungry? Want a mango, buddy? They're on the house today, no catch."

He drifted down the beach, rubbing his left eye. He was withdrawn into his thoughts, and as such, bumped into a pretty young woman with curly hair as he moved along the sand. "Oh, oh, oh....apologies, apologies." he stuttered. "My own little world, y'know?"
