A beach and shore a little ways away from the survivor's camps. Location found in box G4 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

***Heidi enters from F3 - Area of Survivor's Camp***
I'd been walking at a slow pace for about an hour along the shore, letting the waves lap at my feet, some hitting me a bit higher. My pants were soaked from the knees down and it felt wonderful. I looked back and could still see the survivors from this angle, but they looked like little ants. Good enough distance. They wouldn't be able to hear me from here unless I screamed really loud and I did have a good set of pipes on me, so if there was any trouble, say oh, like a monster running at me from the jungle, I could scream for help.
I put in the ear buds and pushed play on my iPod, singing to whatever the shuffle mode put on. I put the volume not as loud as I usually do as I wanted to be able to hear anything big coming at me. I walked even slower now, letting the music surround me and reveling in the feeling of the stress and panic slowly leaving me as I sang along.
After a couple of songs, I'd loosened up some more and was starting to sway, dance, put in the occassional twirl and kick at the waves, splashing and laughing as I would run up shore from the waves that came in higher than the one before.
I was back to my old self again. The Heidi that everyone back home would recognize. The girl who had a smile plastered on her face almost every second of the day and looked at everything in such a positive light.

~Sarah~ Sarah made her way to the beach, sitting down just before the ocean could touch her little toes. She sat with Mr. Floppers in her arms and smiled. This reminded her of when she use to watch her father, how he took to the waves. She watched as the waves crashed on the ocean and wished that she could see her father just one more time. Sarah wasn’t stupid, if a rescue boat was coming, it would take maybe days to reach them. She wasn’t sure if everyone would last that long without driving each other crazy. As she watched the waves she remembered a time back when she was six years old, her and mr. floppers sitting on the shore watching her daddy ride the waves with her mother sitting right there next to her, holding her little girl…. abclost.proboards40.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=rpgbios&thread=1156633147&page=1 Sarah smiled she was so proud of her dad... and she still is...

~Mr. Floppers~
Mr Floppers loved the feeling of Lyaing Softly in Sarah's arms, he had been there since the day she was born, he never cared that she use to drool on him, or hug him to tight sometimes. because she loved him, it was a child's love.
He snuggle into her arm, and watched the morning waves. wishing he was at home in his Mr. Floppers bed, and Mr. Floppers chair...

After about a half hour, I turned my iPod off and started making my way back, still smiling. I felt so much better that I'd decided this would be a great morning ritual. That thought caused me to frown for a moment. I'd just made a decision as if I'd subconciously come to the conclusion I'd be here for a very long time. That wasn't exactly a positive thought, but it was a positive way of handling a situation I had no control over.
The sun was getting hotter and I was never a big fan of exposing my skin to the sun very much, so I walked close to the jungle in the shade of the trees. I mostly kept my eyes downcast or in front of me, avoiding looking into the jungle because I was afraid of seeing something I didn't want to see. If I didn't see it, then it was easier to trick my mind into thinking it didn't exist. A little ways down, I caught sight of someone sitting on the shore, looking out to sea. It was that little girl I'd found in the jungle. I stopped and looked around. Nobody was watching her. Well crap, I thought. Should I just keep walking or stay and look after her? She's not my responsibility and besides, I don't think she likes me very much. Even though I tried to convince myself to just keep walking, I couldn't.
I groaned inwardly as my feet started taking me toward the little girl. What the hell could I do anyway? I didn't speak or understand French. I walked up to her at an angle so that she'd see me coming. I didn't want to scare her and have her hate me more or anything.
"Hi again," I said, waiting to see how she would react to my talking to her.

"Yeah, it's such a pretty...beach." She said, she'd never had a thing about beauty and art. She turned round to look at the beach and saw carnage, she blinked, "Well...maybe not."

"Well, just don't look that way." he said. Looking the other way, all part of being a lawyer, not looking back at the victims of the people he helped put back on the streets.

I wasn't sure if I'd get a cold shoulder or some snotty words. I was surprised instead by her very nice and very mature for her age reply, and in English no less. I smiled and took her up on the offer to sit down.
"Yes, you were speaking French when I found you out in the jungle. Nice to meet you Sarah and Mr. Floppers. I'm Heidi." I shook her hand, then shook Mr. Floppers' paw. "He's adorable," I said with a smile. "So, are you and Mr. Floppers out here alone?"

MOLLY She wrinkled up her nose in disgust; she'd been wearing her clothes since the plane crash, and now, they were stiff with dried sweat, blood and sea-water. She rolled up her jeans to her knees, and began walking down to the rocks.
No one seemed to know quite what to do. They milled around the camp, making small talk, when really, none of them cared whether they'd see eachother again when, and if, they were rescued. Except for the married couples, of course.
Molly had spent the morning getting used to so many strangers; it was like being back in the Children's Home again. One curvy woman, and her her husband had been walking around arm in arm, talking in low voices. Jan was out in the jungle, probably going for a piss, and Ashlee was sitting on her own.
She climbed on to the rocks, sliding and banging her shin every so often. Finally, she found a rock that was relatively smooth and dryish, and pulled off her converse and socks, and threw them quite far up on the beach. The waves crashed against the rocks, soaking her up to her waist. She smiled momentarily. It felt like the first smile in days.
She sat there for more than hour, just reflecting on the crash, the fact that they'd all been thrown in in the deep end, forced to make alliances with people they didn't know. Finally, she slid off the rock, and waded back round to the beach. From the waist down, she was soaked. She sighed, and began walking back up to her tent.

"I do miss home," I said with a nod. "I miss my family and friends so much." I was silent for a little as I thought of them while watching the waves crash. "I'm all alone here, but I've started to get to know a few people. How 'bout you? Were you travelling with anyone besides Mr. Floppers?"

One of the reasons I didn't get along with all kids was because I treated them as equal; as adults. Some kids liked to be babied, but that wasn't my style. So if Sarah felt that it'd be best for her to keep to herself, then I respected her decision.
"I hope so too," I said about being rescued. I stood up and brushed off my jeans. "Well, I'll leave you and Mr. Floppers to your thoughts. If you need anything or need someone to talk to, you can always come to me," I said smiling. "We can keep an eye on each other until rescue comes. Sound like a plan?"

She looked up at the women and smiled. "Thanks, thanks for treating me like an adult and not like a little kid." Sarah leaned back for a moment she saw rain cloud and knew they would have to find shelter soon. The rain might make its way twoards camp.
"We can keep an eye on each other until rescue comes. Sound like a plan?"
"Yes, we should get back to camp and tell them to make shelter, looks like its going to rain here soon." Sarah stood up and dusted her and Mr. Floppers off with a smile.

"No problem. I was never much good at baby talk and don't see the point in it. You'd just like to be taken seriously like everyone else, I'm sure."
When she mentioned rain, I looked up and did see some clouds forming. "That's a good idea." I looked at my almost empty water bottle. "Some shelter and maybe something to be able to collect water in."

Saraha smiled and started for the camp, she walked long the beach. Noticing the carnage, the body's would have to be moved, it would eventually get hot, and they would stink up the beach. hopefully someone would be smart enough to placed the bodies into the plan...
