The corridor of The Staff station. Location found in box D3 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

***Ben enters***
PRYCE
He waited quietly outside, listening to the muffled voices but not catching any words. Eventually, Ben headed out into the corridor, saying, “She’s currently pregnant. I’m going to have Juliet check her out.”
Pryce turned to face Ben. “She ain’t pregnant. She’s a liar.”
“Why do you think that?”
“Because we can’t let another baby die, can we?”
“They haven’t been born yet, Ryan. Our priority is always to save the mother when there comes an emergency, like with Sabine.” Explained Ben, clearly surprised by Pryce’s sudden opinion.
“They’re still…kids.” Mumbled Pryce. “Sir.”
He was silent for a moment, looking at Ben, avoiding his eyes. “I like kids. I’ve always been lenient when it comes to kids.” Grunted Pryce, looking away. “Y’know, when I was a kid myself, I was pretty much your average obnoxious, arrogant nine-year old. I found a spider and put it in my little sister’s bed.”
Pryce paused again, unsure why on Earth he was telling Ben. Probably because Ben wouldn’t care enough to repeat it. “I thought it would be funny to watch her freak out.” Pryce chuckled lightly, and then his expression turned softer. “Too bad it turned out to be a hobo spider. It bit her, and she ended up losing a part of her leg. She walks with a chunk of metal holding her leg together now.”
Pryce was silent for a little while longer, and then whispered hoarsely, “The guilt has been killing me slowly for a very, very long time now.”
He looked back up at Ben and shifted back into the tough guy. “Point of my little story is, things ain’t what they seem, ever. The English chick looks harmless, but we can’t let her outta our sight for two seconds. You can’t trust her, you can’ trust that she gave you true answers, you can’t trust Saint, you can’t trust Burke, or nobody.”
BEN LINUS
He folded his arms, listening with fake sympathy to Pryce’s story. He didn’t need the analogy. He just wanted to tell someone, which was clear. It was a little surprising. Ben hadn’t any idea Pryce could be so melodramatic. “I understand, Ryan. Believe me, I’m not about to turn my back on her, or anyone for that matter.” He replied calmly. “I think Preston may have traumatised her. Keep her down here for tonight, but tomorrow, I want her moved back to the barracks. I’ll speak with Juliet tonight about her taking on the job of babysitting.”

***Juliet enters from the Exam Room with Preston***
"How does she seem to you?" she asked, nodding back toward their guest. "Since it seems you had an entire day to observe her before anyone else knew about her arrival..."

"Since it seems you had an entire day to observe her before anyone else knew about her arrival..."
He looked down for a moment, a little ashamed. "I was trying to keep her locked up without alerting her. I told Ben as soon as I could." he replied, looking up. "And she's....just as anyone would be. She's scared, nervous, and looking for any opportunity to escape."

"Preston, it's fine," she said, giving him a reassuring smile. "I probably would have done the same thing in your position. We need to make her feel at ease, not that she's being held here against her will. I just need to know when I do a tox screen, am I going to find anything in her system that wasn't there before?"

"I drugged her tea, to keep her from spearing me with a ladle." he explained. "I'm not sure how to make her feel at ease. Between Ben, Pryce, and admittedly myself..."

She quirked an eyebrow at him. A ladle? "Well, not drugging her food and drink would be a start," she stated. This was getting more complicated; not only would she need to substitute Harkness' blood sample with the blood of a pregnant woman, but also one who'd recently been doped up with knockout drugs. It looked increasingly as if she would need Karli's help.
"Just...try to put yourself in her position, Preston," she suggested. "Thrown into a strange environment, not by choice, surrounded by people who all seem to want something from you. Asking you questions that you don't know how to answer, moving you from place to place with no explanation, expecting obedience with no explanations. When all you really want is to be safe at home in your own bed. Empathy, Dr. Saint. That's what she needs from us right now."

As he listened, he began to realize the full scope of what had happened. Samantha Harkness really had been through the worst time, and he hadn't exactly treated her well. Then he remembered the ladle, and returned back to his annoyance at her. "Empathy. I can fake that, sure."

SOFIA
Sofia enters from the Oustide of Homes area. Looking for Ben and whoever else was around, Sofia peered curiouslyaround her, she hadn't really been in this hatch at all. Only when she had first arrived to the island, but she knew what is was and what happened there, and she knew all too well about Sabine and the other mothers, she called out as she entered the corridor.
"Anybody Home? Ben!?"

"Are you sure you wouldn't rather stay behind?" she was asking Preston as Samantha emerged from the examination room. "Make sure everything's in working order if we manage to find anyone else?"

"Make sure everything's in working order if we manage to find anyone else?"
"Perhaps you're right." he nodded thoughtfully. He looked back down the corridor at the examination room. "I expect they'll be frequent visits here."

SAMANTHA
Samantha edged out into the corridor, padding barefoot up the cold floored corridor, not entirely sure what to expect next. She did however breath a small sigh of relief hearing Preston agree to stay behind. Perhaps Juliet really was on her side after all. Perhaps...
She held her tongue for the moment, in case something she'd reflexively blurt out might provoke him into changing his mind and coming with. Patiently, she waited for instruction.

"I'm sure Ben would feel better knowing that you're here, keeping Ryan and Sofia in line. If you need anything else in the way of supplies, let me know," she said to Preston.
She glanced at Samantha as she stood barefoot in the hallway. "And the first thing we should do is find you some shoes. It wouldn't do to survive a plane crash and then end up with tetanus. Follow me; I think there should be some extra pairs in the locker room," Juliet offered, nodding down the hallway.

SAMANTHA
"Oh, I already browsed that shoe shop." Samantha replied, following Juliet down the grimly coloured corridor. "I was hoping to find something in a kitten heel, but you don't seem to stock my size. And your sales assistant, Ryan.... well his customer service left a little to be desired." She mocked, though her jaw still hurt from the abuse it had suffered from Pryce's fist earlier.

"True, Ryan's a bit abrasive, but he knows a surprising amount about Italian leather," she said, a slight smile playing across her face as she looked back at Samantha. "I probably left an extra pair of shoes in my locker. If I can remember the combination. Needless to say, we haven't used this place in a while."
She paused at the entrance to the locker room, holding the door open for Samantha. "After you."

"Thank you." he replied, smiling and looking at her for slightly too long, even when she began talking to Samantha. He looked away from her, again seemingly unaware that there were other people around him as he looked down the hall at where they'd just come from.
Perhaps it would be beneficial to move down here. Bring a sleeping bag, food, whatever. It would be quiet. That was what he wanted, after all.
