Severin's Shelter Location found in box G3 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

***Sev and Gwen enter Sev's love shack from Jack's party shack***
Supported by Gwen, he limped his way in. Now that no one was trying to poke, prod or threaten his wound, the pain was lessening. "Home sweet...shelter." he grunted gratefully as they entered.

((OOC: Tin roof...rusted?))
"Yeah, well, get used to it, Darling," she said, helping him to lower himself to the sand. "Since you're grounded till further notice. Doctor's orders. Now, I am going to go change clothes because this ensemble is past the 24-hour mark and I'm terribly shallow like that. I'll try to round up some extra pillows, maybe one of the airplane seats so you can be more comfortable. Anything else you need?" she inquired.

"No, and thank you. Very much." he nodded slowly, giving an encouraging smile up at her. She'd certainly been a great help, both to him and the other survivors. Acting almost completely selflessly, and still convinced she was somehow in the wrong. Still blaming herself. Which simply wasn't right. "I do apprieciate all you've done, Gwen. Thank you."

((OOC: Hey, I can be selfish when I want. Y'know, if it's okay with everyone else... )) "I do apprieciate all you've done, Gwen. Thank you."Pausing in the entryway of the shelter, she smiled back at him. "Just doing my job," she replied with a shrug. Even though she had the feeling it was more than that. He was injured because of her, wounded in the course of doing her a favor that he didn't need to. Guilt was certainly a driving factor. But she also sensed a sort of kindred spirit in him. That they both knew the pain of loss and didn't need to lose anyone else just now. Which meant a regrouping on the effort to find Jake as soon as possible, whenever Ana decided to speak to her again. "I'll be right back," she said, ducking out of the shelter and heading across the sand. ***Gwen leaves for her shelter***

"Just doing my job,"
"In which case, it's amazing what your job entails." he said, keeping his smile even as she turned to leave. Then, his smile dropped a little as he looked down at his wounded leg. Gwen was doing everything she could, but sadly she didn't have healing powers. He understood the severity of the wound, and it was simply a miracle that the pain had lessened some without meds. It was unlikely he'd be walking freely without help anytime soon, which meant he could do less to help Gwen and Ana find Jake. Jake, whose disappearance was unsettling.
He squirmed to get comfortable, laid his head back and waited for Gwen to return.

***Gwen enters from the camp***
Awkwardly trying to balance the supplies in her arms, she ducked into Severin's shelter. "Hi. Didn't wake you, did I?" she asked, unloading items onto the sand floor.

"Oh, no. I wasn't sleeping, just resting my eyes." he said, looking up at her. He sat up, trying not to strain his leg too much. His eyes wandered to the items she was holding with both arms. "Where did you get those?"

"Had to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt. Y'know, there are a lot more people here than I thought. Luckily for me, generous people. For the most part. So..." she began, "Extra pillows, blanket, quality reading material or crossword puzzles if you prefer."
She handed him one of the water bottles that she'd refilled from one of Sayid's rain-catchers since there was no sign of the existing water supply. "Sawyer even contributed some pain meds to the cause," she said, shaking out a couple of pills from the bottle. "And don't give me that concern-y look; my virtue's still intact. I traded him for a pack of cigarettes. Filthy habit, I should give it up anyway." She placed the pills in his hand.

He smiled up at her. "Thank you, Gwen. That's...unbelivably thoughtful."

He instantly swallowed the pills, and said, "Well, I think smoking is a slightly better habit to have than hording away needed supplies. And I appreciate you giving up your last pack." He picked up the bottle, beginning to read the label.

"Well, I'm more concerned about owing him a favor. The cigarettes I can live without. I only smoke when I have to deal with my mother, and thankfully she's not here," she said, placing one of the pillows behind Severin and then crossing her legs to sit down on the sand. "I haven't spoken with Ana, so I've no idea where she and Walter were off to this morning. And there's still no sign of Jack."

"I'm sure he has other things on his mind. Plenty of survivors to tend to, after all." he said, shrugging. "Besides, I'm just...fantastic."

She threw him a look. "You're not 'fantastic.' You've got a bloody great hole in your leg. Not to mention all the other cons about our current situation. I've just heard whisperings about a water shortage. Although sudden, pouring rain seems highly probably 'round here."
She unfolded her glasses and slid them on as she opened up a glossy magazine, then looked over at Severin. "Jasmine says hello, by the way. I'm sure she'll be by to visit you soon."

"Jasmine says hello, by the way. I'm sure she'll be by to visit you soon."
"Oh, I'll look forward to it. Perhaps this time she'll wear enough to not make me actively avoid the subject." he said, having the odd thought that Gwen looked oddly sexy with glasses.

"Oh, so you were looking?" she asked with a wry smile. "And here we all thought you were just being a gentleman. I wouldn't count on a change in dress code, though. She was busily sunbathing the last time I saw her," she said, flipping another page.

He smirked at her. "Well, I couldn't help myself. Besides, what was that I heard about Sean Bean and a pilot's uniform coming out of your angelic mouth?" he recalled, pretending he was trying to remember.

"I've no idea what you might be referring to, Mr. Darling," she said, feigning ignorance and avoiding eye contact. "Oh, look, Graham Norton is the worst-dressed British male celebrity. I thought surely it would be Laurence Llewelyn Bowen. Honestly, who wears ascots these days?"

"I'm surprised I didn't make it in the list. I went through a phase where I thought long hair, stubble and tight leather pants somehow looked good." he said, sitting up slightly and reminiscing. "What's the rest of the list?"

She laughed at the mental image. "Leather pants? Really? Oh, no man should go there. Except perhaps an evil David Boreanaz. That would be the only exception," she stated.
Returning to reading, she relayed, "Ah, let's see, number two is Simon Cowell. Then it's Jonathan Ross, Chris Evans, Jamie Oliver--oh, not my Jamie, Jack Osbourne, Tony Blair, and some other people I've never heard of." She flipped another page. "So what exactly brought on this 'leather pants' phase? You hadn't just moved to Soho, had you?" she inquired.
