I have an idea! Yes. Be amazed.
Anyway, I thought it would be cool if Sarah or Grace were the first to run into Nameless. If they went back to the other survivors and told them, who would believe them? Sarah's a little kid, and Grace can't really communicate easily with anyone except Gwen. And I think it would be easier for Nameless to communicate with either of the girls; Sarah's a kid, and kids have an easier time understanding improper (or in this case, almost nonexistant) English, and since Grace can't hear and Nameless can't really speak, they could do the whole gestures thing.
Yes, no?

*is one of the missing survivors* Um...oops? Sorry I was gone so long, I had a lot on my plate with school and college apps and suchlike. But I, and Grace, have returned! Let the RP begin!

Hey, you beautiful people, guess who's back? That's right, for a limited time only, Grace will again be making her presence known on Craphole Island!
((that limited time being this week, since I'm on spring break. After that, I'll be incommunicado for the next two weeks, and then hopefully I'll be back for keeps.))

I liiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!
Les Mis finished a few weeks ago, but for the past few weeks I've been scrambling around trying to get my grades back up (you wouldn't believe how much more important sleep is than homework after you've had a full day of school and a five-hour rehearsal!) to keep my GPA high enough for a scholarship. And then I got accepted to college, so I've been researching that. But I'm back now! Let there be much rejoicing. Sadly, my appearances might be kind of patchy for the next two weeks, as I've got three very large projects to do.

I may or may not be around much this weekend. I have an AP European History test to study for and two sections left of my online class to finish by next Wednesday.

Ernesto was a total pansy. I've been through thunderstorms more frightening than that pathetic excuse of a Tropical Depression-turned Storm-turned Hurricane-turned Storm-turned Depression. You'll be just fine, lovely.

Following the trend, I'll post my schedule.
School from 7:30 to 2:40, get home around 3. Usually online between four and six. Break for dinner and TV, back on from around 8 to 10:30 (as late as 12:30 if it's Friday or Saturday). Times are subject to change, depending on how much homework I have.

Gwen knows ASL? AWESOME. Once Grace figures that out, she'll be stuck to Gwen like glue.

Eh, it's no big thing. I'm SO over this hurricane thing. I just have to hustle the rest of my family into taking it seriously. It'll only be a Cat 1, Cat 2 at the very most, but better safe than sorry. Wilma was a Cat 2 last year and it did a number on us here.
And you can call me Kaye, by the by.

I'm on for an hour or so right now, and maybe later tonight, but there's no telling if I'll be on at all during the next few days. I live in South Florida, and the current forecast track has Tropical Storm/soon-to-be Hurricane Ernesto on a collision course with the county I live in. So I've got a crapload of preparation to do.

I would so be up for crashing on an island with those guys. And I'm here for another hour or so, I think. Got some schoolwork to do, but it can wait.

Thanks for that enlightening little speech; it was almost as good as those televangelists. Do you get money for doing this? Has the Christian Church decided that roleplayers like us are deathly in danger of having our immortal souls corrupted, and sent you to save us? Quite honestly, I haven't been "good enough" to get into "heaven" for most of my life, so why bother trying now? If I'm going to "hell," I might as well have a damn good time getting there! Goddess bless!
(My my my, that sounded rather spiteful of me. But I'm sorry, I loathe those bible-thumping, hellfire-and-damnation people that preach the whole "my way is the only way" theology.)
