Another great flashback. Boy, that girls just goes running in and out so fast that she's not taking the time to see what's right there in front of her; a good guy who's always there for her, but nope, she has to keep dating the losers. Ah well.

Tom lies down in a hospital bed, holding a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a green towel up to his left eye. His nose was crooked and swelled as well. His room was empty for the moment, and Tom had the television turned off. Moments later Amber walked into the room, and, shortly after entering, covers her face with her hand.
"It's that bad, eh?" Tom said.
"Let me have a look" Amber said, as Tom removed the makeshift icepack, revealing his incredibly swollen and purple left side of his face, his eye swollen shut. "How do you feel?"
"Like tenderized meat."
"Well, you look worse."
"Thanks, hun. Listen, I... I've got something to tell you."
"You should get some rest..."
"No, I have to do this," Tom said, sitting up.
"Well, let me go first."
"Right, your trip... go ahead."
"I'm getting married."
"What? To whom?!?" Tom said, shouting.
"A guy, I met in Austrailia over break. He's really great, you should meet him."
"I don't think now is the best time for me to be meeting people."
"The Wedding. It's September 19th."
"I'm not exactly in the best state of minds to be making plans right now, hun."
"You get some rest now, you hear?"
"Yeah."

Willo walked into the upscale bar in downtown Sydney, managing to look incredibly out of place in his tuxedo, despite the fact that the bow tie was no where to be seen. He caught the gaze of a number of people in the rather laid back joint as he made his way up to the bar, glancing briefly at the sign above that read open mic night. He sat down by himself at the bar, and the bartender came over quickly.
"Hiya, babe," she said, with a smile. "What'll it be for ya?"
"Bass Ale."
"Bass, eh? Not a lot of people here drink it."
"Well, I'm not from around here," Willo said, glancing at the stage where someone was butchering the chours of 'You All Everybody'.
"Why you all dressed up?" she asked, opening his beer and handing it to him.
"I was in a wedding."
"How was it?"
"I've seen better," Willo said, then tipped back the beer. She smiled briefly. "Where's the signup sheet?"
"What?" she asked. Willo gestured to the stage. "Oh, of course. Well, the next open slot isn't for about an hour."
"Put me down," he said, and looked at her.
----
Time has passed, and it looks like the bar is closing. A man comes up to him and shakes his hand.
"You... wow." the man said.
Willo sipped a beer, as the bartender exited and sat down next to Willo.
"You're an interesting fellow," she said, sitting down next to him.
"Is that a compliment?" Willo asked, taking another sip of beer.
"I mean, you come in here, dressed like that... then you sing a song like the one you sang... It's just an interesting choice, is all I'm saying."
"I'm not that talented of a guitar player, I only know a few chords... I know that song 'cause my dad used to sing it to me when I was a kid."
"So, the love of your life got married, hunh?" she said, out of nowhere.
"What?"
"That's why you're drinking in your tux, that's why you sang the song you did, right? She got married today."
"No, no, It's nothing like that. Well, it was supposed to be like that... but... something else happened."
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"I've been talking about it all day, babe. Right now, I just want to forget."
"Well, we're closing up here... do you have a place to stay?"
"Yeah... the airport... the hotel right next to it... I... can't remember it's name right now..."
"Well, if I'm going to go with you to your hotel room, I'm going to need to know your name."
"Willo. Everyone calls me Willo."
"Like the tree?"
"Only without the second double-you, yeah."
"That's an interesting name, how do you get something like that?"
"Babies."
"You were named by a baby?"
"Something like that." Willo said, finishing the beer. "Let's go."

Basically.... you're going to have to wait to find out exactly. There's a reason Willo was in the hospital and his face was swollen, but it's part of another story.

Hmm, questions I have about Willo right now, well as far as flashbacks go, are the following:
Why was he in the hospital? (but you said you'd already planned on covering that soon)
Does he like/love this Amber women and what exactly was he going to tell her before she announced she was getting married? (I'm guessing he was going to confess his feelings for her?)
Other than that, perhaps some more information about his past before Amber.
And last but not least, where does the bitch-slap-Amber-for-being-a-complete-idiot line form?

The bartender awoke in the hotel room to an empty bed, looking around as Willo emerged from the bathroom with a suitcase. He looked at her and smiled, but continued to stuff the bright white towels into his bag.
“Good morning,” she said, with a smile. “Why are you in a rush, babe? We should order breakfast in bed and not leave the room.”
Willo continued to grab whatever he could, including removing the batteries from the television remote.
“That’s a little cheap,” she said.
“Well, you’re not exactly a cheap date, so I’m saving my money when I can. Besides, I won’t get a chance to go to the hotel store,” Willo said, with a serious look on his face.
“What do you mean? Wasn’t it worth it?” she said, doing her best too look seductive.
Willo finally stopped and looked at her. “What do you think happened last night?” he said, raising an eyebrow.
“I picked you up at my bar,” she said. “You sang a sad song and I took you home.”
“You don’t remember anything else, do you?”
“I can imagine,” she said, with a smile and patted the bed in front of her, “We can make something to remember now.”
“We got back here, and we cleaned out the minibar. Then you talked to me about this guy named Paul for about two hours before you fell asleep on my chest.”
“You mean, we didn’t...”
”’fraid not, hun,” he said, with a smile. “Anyway, I’m going to guess that you’re going to want to leave here in not too long.”
“What... why?”
“I can’t explain...”
“No, I mean why didn’t we?”
“Because we decided you were just using me because I look sort of like Paul and you both love and hate Paul and sleeping with me would temporarily satisfy both those emotions. Oh, and you’re pregnant.” he said matter of faculty.
“You were the one singing ‘Fire and Rain’, shouldn’t have you been the one we were psychoanalyzing,” she said, still doing her best to look cute.
“Another time,” he said. “Come on, up and atom.”
“Why are you in such a hurry to get rid of me?” she asked. As she finished there was a harsh knock at the door.
“That’d be why,” Willo said, walking to the door. He opened it, but she couldn’t see who was there. “Just give me one second,” he said.
He walked back into the main area of the room.
“I have to go, just, uhm, drop the keycard off at the front desk. I left a towel in the bedroom for you. And, uhm, I know this is going to seem odd, but tell Paul you’re sorry. I left my address on a notecard in your purse, write me, okay?”
At that moment a man in a suit carrying a gun walked into the room.
“Mr. Wilhoat, if you’re going to stay on schedule, we need to leave now,” he said, and ushered Willo out of room 1623.
The bartender walked to the front door in nothing but her bra and panties and stuck her head out the open door.
“What happened to you, Willo? What happened at the wedding?” she shouted, as she looked down at the ground to see something in the newspaper. It was Willo’s photograph on the front page of the paper, right below a story about Cat Stevens being denied entrance to the United States. She picked up the paper but the headline wasn’t visible.

Just wait until you see what happens next.
As far as the number of flashbacks, I consider this to be "one flashback" through the next one I post. These would be several flashbacks in one episode on Lost, because they link together to a definate ending. You'll see, soon enough.

“Let’s go over it again,” Detective Calderwood said. “You’re not the last appointment I have today, so I don’t want to take up any more of your time.”
“I’ve told you the story three times already. It’s the exact same story each time,” he said.
“Yeah, that’s what makes it suspicious.”
“What?”
“Most people, they remember details one time but forget them the next, and remember details, you seem to remember all the details every time, which suggests to me you made something up and memorized it.”
“I have a photographic memory, and I think I’d remember this pretty vividly.”
“Just one more time, Mr. Wilhoat.”
---
For a split second, Willo was back on the island, looking at Heidi. Seeing her mouth move, but not hearing any voice. Then, he was back in thought.
----
Willo is sitting in a car on a rainy day. He is wearing the tux, with the bow tie done. He tips back a flask, and puts it back into the glove compartment.
“You were sitting in the car, drinking,” The disembodied voice of Calderwood said.
Willo hits play on the CD player and Damien Rice’s “The Blowers Daughter” begins to play, and continues underneath.
“I only had a swig, for confidence,” Willo’s voice said. Willo gets out of the black Oldsmobile Aurora as a light rain falls on his sholders. He looks around, and then up, infront of him, where there stands a church.
---
“I go into the church,” Willo said, facing the detective.
“And then what?” Calderwood asked, leaning in.
---
“Hey Thomas,” one of the guests said, walking up to Willo.
“Al,” he said, calmly, as Al proceed to hug him. “I’m glad you came down, it’s been so good to meet you.”
“You too,” Willo said, putting on his best smile. He wore it like a mask, as if he could take it off and on at will. “So, where’s the blushing bride?”
“She’s in her dressing room,” Al said. “She was getting all hysterical, and so she kicked all the bridesmaids out. My sisters are not the easiest people to get along with.”
Willo chuckled and looked down at his feet.
“Someone should probably check up on her, you mind?”
“What?” Willo asked.
“Just, make sure she’s doing okay,” Al said, putting his arm around Willo’s neck and began to speak in a lower voice. “I think she’s starting to have second thoughts, and she said you’ve always been the voice of reason in her life-- you always knew what to tell her to figure things out. Plus, aside from her family, you know her the best.”
“Yeah, okay,” Willo said, nodding at Al. “I had something I had to talk to her about, anyway.”
and so it is just like you said it should be we'll both forget the breeze most of the time
Willo walked up to the Brides room, where he knocked on the door.
“Amber? Are you decent. Well, cover up, I’m coming in.”
Willo burst through the door looking around.
and so it is the colder water the blower's daughter the pupil in denial
“Amber? Where you...” Willo said, and sudenly stopped speaking. He looked to the ground where he saw Amber, her white dress spoiled by a growing red stain. He looked to the ground, where a revolver laid.
“Amber,” Willo said, falling to his knees next to her, taking off his bow tie and feeling her pulse. “Help! We need some help here!”
Willo brushed her face and grabbed her right hand which she was sticking up. “Stay with me Amber, stay with me.”
Amber tried to say something, but her voice was too week to make out. Willo leaned in close, and put his ear up to her mouth, where she wispered something. A tear rolled down Willo’s nose as she kissed his right cheek. He looked up as she closed her eyes and leaned her head back.
I can't take my eyes off of you I can't take my eyes off of you I can't take my eyes off of you I can't take my eyes off of you I can't take my eyes off of you I can't take my eyes...eyes...
At that moment, a number of people, lead by Al burst into the room, and suddenly stopped, looking at him.
“Call an ambulence!” Willo shouted, tears now running down his face. He blinked, and he was back in the police station, where he again, had tears running down his cheeks.
“Are we done?” Willo said, looking up at Calderwood.
