ALL PLAYERS MUST KEEP UP TO DATE WITH THIS THREAD! This is where I'll be asking people's opinions on improving things and checking to see when we're ready to move on to another part of the day, and eventually, end the day. Therefore, I'd like to ask everyone to try and avoid posts that are off topic or posts that do not contribute to the timeline.


Okay everyone, we're now starting on Day 4! Here's a timeline of some important things that occurred in the show that we should probably work in. It's up to us to decide exactly how it will be done and who will be involved. Also, if you have a major plot you'd like to play out for your character that's not listed below and would like it added, please reply to this thread and let us know. Thanks so much to Ben (username Jack) for compiling this!


DAY 4 TIMELINE - Saturday, September 25, 2004

MIDSECTION SURVIVORS

DONE ~ Day 4 (Morning): Hike party returns to beach. Sayid makes a speech on how the transceiver failed to work and to ration food. (Originally on Day 3 in show)

SKIPPED ~ Day 4 (Morning): Locke uses a whistle he made to find Vincent and turns him over to Michael.

DONE ~ Day 4 (Mid Day): Kate tells Jack that they couldn't send out a signal because of the distress call. Hurley and Jack discuss the mug shot of Kate. (Originally on Day 3 in show)

DONE ~ Day 4 (Late Afternoon): Charlie helps Claire with her luggage, and Sun tries to find Jins luggage. Charlie and Claire discuss the baby. Hurley tries to avoid Kate. Kate is attacked by the marshal. Jack stops him and the marshal passes out. Kate questions Jack about what will happen to the marshal. Jack admits that he saw Kate's mug shot. Walt and Michael talk about Locke. Michael goes looking for Vincent and runs into Sun bathing. Locke makes a dog whistle to find Vincent. Shannon complains about the marshal's suffering. (Originally on Day 3 in show)

DONE ~ Day 4 (Night): Kate and Sawyer discuss killing the marshal to keep him from suffering. The marshal asks Kate to kill him. Hurley warns Jack about the gun she had. Sawyer shoots the marshal, but misses. Jack euthanizes the marshal. (Originally on Day 3 in show)

MOVING TO DAY 5 ~ Day 4 (Whenever): Cyrus gives Tom the list of the mid-section survivors. (Not in the show, original plot)

TAILIES SURVIVORS

As far as the Tailies, there is no record of what occurred on Day 4. I think they showed Day 2 though in the episode The Other 48 Days, so if anybody has a chance to watch it and take notes, please reply here with what you've found. Since the tailies didn't start until Day 3, they can perhaps work with creating scenes from the first few days. Here's what happened, thanks to Oppy for this info which he'd posted on the Timeline for Day 3! Since Ana Lucia is not there, we can make it someone else, perhaps Kyle, as I kinda picture him as taking charge (maybe it's just me thinkin' that, lol):

Day 2

Ana-Lucia determines that the people who attacked Mr Eko were on the island before them. Nathan reports that a blonde man, a curly-haired man and a German man have been taken. Mr Eko begins to create his Jesus Stick.

Ana wants to leave the beach, but Nathan goes against her, wanting to stay on the beach. Goodwin agrees. Ana tells them about the black box, etc, but Cindy tells them that the rescue planes don't know where to start. They were flying in the wrong direction.

Day 3

They begin to scoop small creatures out of shells for food, and Libby tells Ana-Lucia that Donald is dying from his leg infection. He'll be the 'fourth to go'. However, there is nothing they can do.

And we have nothing we're pushing back to the next day anymore as Day 4 will catch us up! In fact, a couple of the things that happened on Day 4 we already did due to some plot changes. From here on out, things should go much faster as not much happens each day. ;D Er, don't quote me on that though.

Pearl, that occurs morning of Day 5, when the food from the plane has run out. I've got a timeline website that I keep up with, so I'm not missing anything.

Heidi, what are we gonna do about the Jin-Michael watch incident? It's quite significant, so we probably should do it... although there are no characters for Jin or Michael

Andrew, that happens on Day 7, and yes, it is important, so we'll work something out... either the admins will do it or heck, maybe we'll have players for those characters by the time Day 7 rolls around.

ATTENTION HIKING PARTY! Almost forgot. We're going to skip the whole details of hiking back toward camp and just walk out of the jungle back into the Survivor Area, either G3 or F3. We'll all be arriving back in a group, so the first hiker to post gets to decide if it'll be F3 or G3. Players can, as usual, just have their character remember what happened during the lapse of time.

ATTENTION EVERYONE: Remember, since there is a lapse in time, you don't have to start where you last were. You can, for example, start from your shelter since it's just morning, even though you were perhaps by the fuselage or wherever else in he vicinity.

I also agree, very good layout, and i think all my characters will just go with the flow.

Hurrah, Jack and Hurley are all caught up. Oh, and the Marshal is in Jack's shelter/infirmary in case anyone (like Kate) is looking for him...

Okay peoples, once again, I'm trying to push things along faster. I'm changing it over to Afternoon and no worries, there is NO TIME JUMP. Just go along as you are... I think morning has gone by during what we've been doing and it should naturally be afternoon now.

Some scenes we need to work on:

LOCKE: If you still want to do that whistle thing so he can later find Vincent, go for it, or just do it as a memory of something you did in the morning. It'd be nice to at least have memories of things going on with character without players in case someone eventually picks them up... but Locke doesn't find Vincent until after the Late Afternoon scene where Michael walks in on Sun while he's looking for Vincent.

HURLEY & JACK: Kate already told Jack about the distress call. Now, Hurley and Jack can have their discussion about Kate's mug shot.

CYRUS & TOM: Well, this doesn't have to happen in the Afternoon, but it should probably be done before the end of Day 4. Cyrus needs to get his list to Tom.

After all this is done, I'll change to Late Afternoon


Late Afternoon scenes that we can get started on during Afternoon

CHARLIE & CLAIRE: The luggage scene, discussing the baby

JIN & SUN: We don't have a player for Jin, but Sun can do a 'remembering back' thing You know... gazing out to sea, running the memory through her mind

HURLEY & KATE: As soon as Jack and Hurley finish their convo, I plan on having Kate make her way over to see the marshal where Kate and Hurley can have their awkward introductions and Hurley getting to see the gun tucked in the back of her jeans... then go and get herself nearly strangled to death. Good times. Oppy, you still up for playing the part of Edward Mars?

JACK & KATE: As soon as the above is done, Jack can run in to save Kate from being choked to death and they can have their discussion about Kate's mug shot

WALT & MICHAEL: We don't have players for these two characters, so we can skip this unless someone wants to just post a summary of the scene where they discuss Locke.

SUN & MICHAEL: Again, we don't have a player for Michael, so Sun can just have a 'remembering back' post to when Michael walks in on her

After all this is done, I'll change to Early Evening


Early Evening scenes that we can get started on during Late Afternoon

MARSHAL & EVERYONE: By this time, it's nearly evening and the marshal will be making his ever so lovely sounds of agony, so everyone near enough to hear can post their character's thoughts/feelings on the situation. Oppy, if you're still playing the Marshal, a bit after Jack and Kate finish their convo, you can have fun posting random Edward Mars in agony posts for everyone near to react to.

I am still waiting for Tom/Will to assign Aaron and Karli to the hydra. Lee and I are ready for it since weeks but apparently

Yeah and Karli is waiting in the Gazebo, talk to the men folk, us women are all caught up over there.... as for the Tallies my Lady is sleeping, she has been up all night with Paranoia for the last four days......... so she finally passed out... hehe. But i can wake her up if ya like.... hehe.

I'd quite like Ana-Lucia to talk to Jack about the Marshall in the evening, that could be his reason for not being in the tent when Sawyer shoots him. I remember he turns up and Hurley tells him Kate had a gun, but can't remember why he left her alone in the tent in the first place.

Good call, Ana. We need more AL/Jack interaction. I didn't want to interrupt Sarah and Jack's current convo so whenever the doc needs Hurley again, just let me know.

Yeah I just wanna get some hard pills like prosac and other psychopharmacy products. As soon as I grab a hold of Benny I'll seduce him to get this thing done ... I don't wanna stand in the way for Jack/Ana, Jack/Kate and Ana/Kate relations

The Jack/Hurley convo is wrapped up. So Kate, visiting hours for the Marshal can start as soon as you're done canoodling with Sawyer.

Wow, i just noticed we've been on Day 4 for 3 months now.....

So....I think we really need to be wrapping things up now. Which means we need to put the Marshall out of his misery once and for all. Ideally, i'd like to finish my convo with Sayid before I go and distract Jack from his patient long enough for Sawyer and Kate to go do him in...I mean....end his suffering.... But Scott seems to be very busy at the moment so maybe that's a conversation we need to pick up at a later time or something. I dunno...

Wow, really? I told Lee-O I was running out of things to say; I've been babbling for months.

Well, Hurley is in the infirmary, ready to bump into Kate and freak out, and Jack is somewhere rifling through luggage. So we cue the rain, do that scene with Kate and Jack, move on to sunset, and then death knell for the Marshal, maybe. And then maybe move Jack's finding of the Caves back to Day 5? I mean, Locke will be out there hunting for boar anyway, so...

Also, has Willo expressed any intention to come back? 'Cause I'm feeling bad for the Others. Maybe they could at least fast-forward to the Book Club and we can bring Juliet in off the sidelines

Um, I think Juliet was talking to Cyrus, and Benry was talking to Tom. So no muffin-baking or dancing along to "Downtown" yet.
