Quick note: Whenever you see a post marked as an announcement (which will show up at the top of every board) please be sure to read it right away.
As you can see, we've started the take-off process. We're currently waiting our turn for take-off. We'll be taking off later tonight.
Since the plane is locked up and running now, I'm going to lock all the Sydney Airport threads so that no other posts can be made. If you're new or haven't had a chance to leave the airport area, just jump right into a scene on the plane and make mention that you boarded, etc.
We will be playing out the crash scene tomorrow (Sunday) at some time between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. California time (Pacific Time) depending on what time I can get to my computer. I will wait until we have a good number of players online.
Questions? Comments? Suggestions?

If you're in Eastern Standard Time like I am (South Florida), just add three hours. That would make it somewhere between one and three PM. If you're in Central, add two hours.

johnlocke, lol, it can be sometimes, but we had one before and I have another RPG site, so I've learned a lot from it. I'm always coming up with improvements and other RPers always help out by giving advice. Here's a friendly lil Time Zone Converter for ya'll to use since I always refer to Pacific time. For the "From Time Zone", select US/Pacific to find out what time my time is for you.

If we want to be another character, do we have to request again or can we just go to the character bio?

We're having the crash in about 15 minutes! 11:00 a.m. Pacific time. johnlocke, yup, you have to get all characters you'd like to play approved first. So use the Request to Join thread.

Do people know we're about to crash? Only asking because I thought it would happen later.

Yah, we've taken off. We got clearance. Lol, maybe I should have been more specific. But yes, please post as if we're in the air now. I'm running a little behind the 11 a.m. crash time. I've got to finish catching up on what's happened, have the Pilot & Co-Pilot talk a little more, etc. GWEN - Do you want your character to know that they changed coarse and why and all those little details? If so, head over to the Cockpit and talk to the Pilot & Co-Pilot. Okay, and also, I need to create the crash area before we crash. Lol, trying to avoid the whole thing from yesterday when people were trying to board a plane that didn't exist yet. ;D

*breaks out Browncoat pom-poms* You can do it, Heidi! ;D
Sure, I'd love to have a chat with the dishy pilot. Of course, then I'm cursed with the knowledge that the rescue planes would be looking in the wrong place. Hmm...

Hey Gwen / Heidi / whoever.
Just a question, seeing as I have never travelled from Sydney to LA before - will they serve food before the crash?

Uh, not sure. We did see passengers with trays down, and drinks, but I don't know about food.

I think so as well, but I don't think they got around to it. Remember Hurley was passing out food on the beach that first night.
And Gwen, alrighty, head over to the Cockpit real quickly because we're about ready to crash this thing!

OK, it's now dark, people, so...uh.....don't have a sunny walk down the beach.
Lookie: Night begins to fall on the island, the only light coming from the constructed bonfires.
There ya go. Bah. Night.
