So John, like Karl Pilkington, thinks in an accent? Can I just say how much I love Psych? It was enough for James Roday to be like a rugged, confident version of Zach Braff. That would have been sufficient. But they've mentioned my favorite Fandango quote ("My happiness is a golden poem"), used some of my favorite Vancouver actors like Dolores Herbig from Dead Like Me and Agent Dobson from Firefly, and set stories at both a spelling bee and a sci-fi convention. And now George Takei just requested North Carolina blueberries instead of Michigan blueberries. OMG, I love these writers!

"Oh, bollocks," she sighed dejectedly.I love it when Americans use that word. ;D It's such a British thing to say.

Gwen, I love that show Psych! Isn't Shaun just adorable? They look like they have so much fun on the set and the show is always cracking me up! Have you watched the Psychouts on their site? It's basically an extended version of their goofing arounds that they play during the credits. Man do those two love to sing. Okay, so I was going to have the boarding call made last night, but I fell asleep at 7:30 p.m.! I was so wiped out all of a sudden, so I thought I'd lay down for a few minutes and poof, I was gone. Very odd since I'm usually up until 3 or 4 a.m. when I don't have work the next day.

Oh, there are so many British-isms that have worked their way into my vernacular over the years I can't keep track. Yay, another Psych fan! Roday is absolutely adorable, and the Psych-Out where he tries to imitate Juliet ("That sounds interesting-slash-dangerous...can I touch your sleeve?") cracks me up everytime. I do love how often they end up singing; you know Dule never got to do that on The West Wing. And Detective Lassiter is growing on me. That scene where he shot all the tacky figurines he bought for his ex-wife = classic. Well, I better sign off and head down to the theater for callback auditions. Wish me luck, or tell me to break a leg, or something...

Gwen, you're great taste in television shows and many other things astounds me. ;D Lol! I love that scene were he was imitating Juliet. And the pass the Doche (sp?) song they did was hi-larious! No more Doches!
Good luck! Break a leg (but not, like, literally or anything cuz that'd kinda suck).

Ha! Thanks for the well wishes, guys. Callbacks lasted forever. Everyone read at least two scenes twice through, and I think we were there about two and a half hours. It was fun, though. Now I'm home eating Chick-Fil-A and having a Lost-athon.
Oh, yeah, "Pass the Dutchie"! In Civil War re-enactment outfits, no less. I still love Dule singing "Man in the Mirror" in the background while Roday valiantly tries to carry on with his actual lines. Hehe.

Yah! Hey, I just saw Beerfest and guess who had a small part in it? Roday! I was like "Woohoo, it's Shaun! Yes!" All loud-like. Lol, I didn't get any mean looks, thank goodness. ;D Oh! The one song they sing where they try to hit that high note? Lmao! They're all making excuses saying that a man shouldn't be able to hit that note.

Ah, Beerfest. I shall have to see that; I love those Broken Lizard guys. Club Dredd was...underwhelming, but Super Troopers was hilarious. "Do you know how fast you were goin', meow?"

You forgot to say meow. Meow.
A friend of mine pulled that stunt at the Hard rock Cafe. There was a whole bunch of us, and when the waiter took the order, he said meow after everything. Man we were in stitches for hours. Small things, ay... ;D
