Jinx moved her way to her seat and sighed, she had her CD player on now, dancing on her way down the Isle. Letting the beat of Gloria, move her hips. She always admired Gloria, she grew up singing with all the older Artists. Gloria, Aretha, Pattie, Donna, and the Jackson Five baby! She loved them all, but she had her rock Roots to, Lynard, Steven, The doors, and much much more.

As she sat down in her seat, she reclined her chair back and closed her eyes and hummed along to Gloria. After a while her stomach growled so she removed the sandwich she stored away and took a bite. As of now she was all alone in the first class, she wasn’t exactly sure if that was the case, cause if it was she would be extremely bored. She would have to keep herself a amused.

“all by myself… for now at least.” she sighed and took out her notebook.

Jinx took off her headphones and started to get restless, she knew it would be a long flight. She usually had Jordan to talk to, but now that he would be catching a different flight to LA she was on her own, at least until LA cause her new body guard would be there. She switched to her new CD she had just came out with and knew she would have to practice, Jordan would kill her with all these Tours.

She would Also Practice her dance for it, since she was practically all alone. Just a few people in Business class, nothing she wouldn’t survive. She just hope she wouldn’t give anyone a heart attack or whatever. Smiling she continued.

Jinx was almost done, she wanted to save this song for last, that way she could just sit back and relax after she sang. She had a full tummy now as she finished her BLT and club soda, she placed the song on and listened to it once and than started to sing it again…

She dipped her body down and up, wiggling her hips and running her hand down her body. Slowly than stopping, than faster running it up and down her Chest and back down. She just hoped that she wouldn’t get in trouble. As far as she knew there were no kids on the plane, well at least in first glass. She smiled and continued her dancing.

She stopped Dancing and sat down, she had to practice the worlds more than her dance’s. she had to keep her head focused, but all she could thinking about was what she would do for the whole trip? She sighed and stopped the player, she was so bored and they haven’t even took off yet.

Taking out her notebook she sighed and wrote down a few things…

After hearing the pilot's announcement, Gwen paused her inventory of the supplies in the Business Class galley and moved to the front of the plane, turning on the intercom. The other attendants took their positions in the other sections of the plane, ready to go through the motions of the safety announcements.

"Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome aboard Oceanic Flight 815 with direct service to Los Angeles. We'd like to briefly request your attention while important safety information is reviewed.

"Federal law requires your compliance with all lighted signs, posted placards, and crew-member instructions.

"To fasten your seatbelt, place the flat metal end into the buckle. To release, lift the faceplate of the buckle. Tighten by pulling on the strap. Your seatbelt should be fastened low and tight across your hips.

"All Oceanic Airlines flights are non-smoking. There is no smoking in the aircraft, including the lavatories. The lavatories are equipped with smoke detectors. Tampering with, disabling, or destroying a lavatory smoke detector is prohibited.

"There are six exits on this aircraft...two doors at the front of the cabin, two window exits over the wings, and two doors at the rear of the aircraft. Again, there are two doors at the front of the cabin, two window exits over the wings, and two doors at the rear of the aircraft. Please take a moment now to locate the exit nearest you, keeping in mind that the closest useable exit may be behind you.

"The cabin is pressurized for your comfort and safety. In the unlikely event of a cabin depressurization, oxygen masks will appear overhead. Reach up and pull the mask closest to you, fully extending the plastic tubing. Place the mask over your nose and mouth, and slip the elastic strap over your head. Tighten by pulling on the ends. The bag does not need to inflate for oxygen to be flowing. If you are seated next to a small child or someone needing assistance, secure your own mask first, then assist the child.

"In the event of a water landing, your seat-bottom cushion serves as a flotation device. To use it, place your arms through the straps and hug the cushion to your chest.

"If I or my my fellow flight attendants can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. We'd like to thank you again for choosing Oceanic Airlines, and we hope that you'll have a safe and pleasant flight."

***THE PLANE HATCH IS LOCKED AND SEALED AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT HEARD OVER SPEAKERS IN A MALE AMERICAN ACCENT***


Attention ladies and gentlemen, this is the pilot speaking. We are preparing for take-off. Please direct your attention to the flight attendant in the front of your section for a safety presentation.

***ENGINES ROAR TO LIFE AS THE PLANES BEGINS TO TAXI IN THE WAITING LINE FOR TAKE-OFF***

Jinx smiled and buckled in, she always loved to fly. But she hated to fly alone, she wasn’t aloud to turn on any electric device until after take off so she sang a sentence. “Ground control to major tom…” she laughed, and waited.

***THE PILOT'S VOICE IS HEARD OVER THE SPEAKERS AGAIN***


Ladies and gentlemen, we have just been given clearance for take-off. Cabin crew, to your stations, please.

[Gwen Havers]

After a final check to secure the overhead compartments in economy class, she returned to the crew galley on the border between business and economy class to find Cindy methodically stocking the beverages cart.

"Did you catch the floorshow in first class?" Gwen remarked, slipping past her to begin arranging the dinner trays. "I certainly hope everyone brought singles."

Cindy giggled. "I think she's some famous pop star, concluding her triumphant tour of Australia," she replied in her Australian accent.

"I'm just glad she doesn't have one of those yappy tiny dogs in her carry-on. Seems to be the accessory of choice for young, blonde socialites these days."

Ladies and gentlemen, we have just been given clearance for take-off. Cabin crew, to your stations, please.

"Time to take a seat, then," Gwen said, locking down the trolleys and making sure all the cabinets were securely fastened shut. She moved to the seats in the row in front of the galley, flipped down the seat from the wall and fastened the straps across her chest and waist. She inhaled deeply and closed her eyes, leaning back against the wall.

***6 HOURS INTO THE FLIGHT***

CO-PILOT

"So, you gonna ask her out or what? 'Cause if you won't, I will."


PILOT

"Who, Gwen?" he asked in a clueless manner. "I don't know. What if she says no? Then it would be awkward whenever we worked together."


CO-PILOT

He rolled his eyes. "She's not gonna say no, man. She even gave you a nickname for chrissake. She calls you 'Huggy Bear' to her friends and accidentally let it slip at a bar in L.A. last week. But don't tell her I told you that."


PILOT

He gave a silly grin, feeling a tinge of embarrassment. "She did? Well, okay, I'll do it. Just as soon-"

He was cut off as the panels began to flash and the radio died. He tapped his earpiece, but nothing.

"My radio's gone dead. Is yours still working?" He knew by looking at the panel that the answer would be 'no' but he still hoped for a yes.


CO-PILOT

"No, mine's out, too."


They spend a good 30 minutes flicking switches and trying to reset the radio, but with no luck.


PILOT

"We're going to have to make an emergency landing." He looks at his panels. "Fiji would be the closest."


CO-PILOT

"Should we make an announcement?"


PILOT

"No. No reason to cause panic. It's just the radio. The plane is flying smooth."


***THE PLANE CHANGES COARSE***

[Gwen Havers]

Six hours. Six hours of walking up and down the aisles, tending to everyone's needs, having to switch her manner from helpful to calming to stern to encouraging in order to best respond to the varied passenger's needs. She was making a round with a garbage bag to collect any trash when she felt the shift in direction. It was slight, but she had to brace herself against a seat to find her balance. She returned the garbage bag to the galley and headed for the cockpit. Sure, Cindy actually had cockpit duty, but she seemed to be involved in a discussion toward the back of the plane.

Gwen punched in the security code to unlock the door, entered and pulled it shut behind her. "Hi," she said quickly. "Captain." She nodded at him and quickly turned her attention to the co-pilot. "Is there a problem? It's just...I thought I felt a change in course."

Jinx hated tae off and she was happy when it was over with. she had this fear, a nightmare the other day, she would be in first class and the Plane would start to go down, nose first, she would be killed...

she hated that nightmare, she hoped it would never happen, she decided if she would die she rather do it with hardly anyone around her, due to the fact, no one will be able to identify her body among the many others.

standing up she moved towards the Business class and smiled as she was thanked for earlier floor show, it made her smile. she told them her name, she figured the Business type men in there forties wouldn't know her. and than they of course made the excuse that they remembered her, there daughters loved her....

After using the bathroom she headed for her seat and opened the bottle of Wine, if she was going to go down, she didn't want to remember a thing. "Could i interest anyone in a drink?" she asked the business class... she buzzed the bell, she would need a few more glasses.

CO-PILOT

"Yah, but I'll let our Captain, here tell ya all about it." He kicked said Captain not so subtley.


PILOT

He turned his attention toward Gwen and gave a little smile and felt a bit nervous. "Um, well, our um-"

CO-PILOT

"Radio," he said quietly to the pilot.


PILOT

He bit back his nervousness and took on a Captainy tone. "Our radio seems to have gone out, so we've changed course for Fiji. We'll be making an emergency landing, but there's no need to alarm the passengers."

She and the other passangers felt pretty good right now, as if nothing would go wrong, they hardly cared about the turbulance, it was as of nothing was happening... or was that the Wine talking? Jinx frowed the bottle was empty, and she wondered if they served wine after a certain hour, she smiled a bit.

"Hey if possible, give a couple bottles of wine to Economy on me, i'm feel happy.." Jinx smiled.

[Gwen Havers]

"Oh, okay," she said softly. Emergency landing. Never words that one liked to hear, or to have to relay to passengers. Anyway, she was sure the two of them would get them back on the ground safely. She nodded at his suggestion not to alarm the passengers. "I hear Fiji's lovely this time of year," she remarked with a slight smile, before exiting the cockpit and securely closing the door behind her.

She looked out at the sea of questioning first-class eyes before her. "Everything's fine," she pronounced, mostly to herself. "Just some minor turbulence. Smooth sailing again in no time." She walked quickly back toward the crew galley.

He just smiled at her as she left.


CO-PILOT

"Moron! That was your chance! Did you hear the way she said 'I hear Fiji's lovely this time of year'?" He repeated her sentence trying to imitate her voice.


PILOT

"Yah, yah. I'll get around to it. Right now, we have this little emergency landing to concentrate on."



***AN HOUR AND FORTY-FIVE MINUTES LATER, SOME LIGHT TURBULENCE BEGINS AND STARTS GETTING PROGRESSIVELY WORSE***

When Jinx awoke from her small nap she sighed and noticed her wine was empty, and everyone in first and Business class were either knocked out, or drunk. she smiled, she was glad she could make people feel happy, and with that she picked up her small bag and headed for the Economy class with an extra bottle of wine she ordered earlier...

Jinx stumbled into Business class, and cursed the Turbulance and the women who told her to sit down. honestly she was just trying to spreed some Joy around. and normally Jinx didn't do that. so she stumbled and she sat in 10G, and with a sigh closed her eyes.

Gwen followed the woman back toward the crew galley at the front of the economy class section, trying to reassure the passengers that clutched at her with desperate hands and wide eyes. Everything would be fine, she chanted.

She made it into the small room and braced herself against the counter, as the plane continued to shake violently.

***THE PLANE GIVES A MIGHTY JOLT AND THE OXYGEN MASKS FALL FROM OVERHEAD.

THE SOUND OF METAL CRUSHING AND BENDING CAN BE HEARD.

LESS THAN A MINUTE LATER, A VERY LOUD GRINDING IS HEARD AS THE TAIL BREAKS OFF AND DISAPPEARS, FOLLOWED BY SCREAMS AND THE LOUD SOUND OF THE ENGINES NOW MAGNIFIED THROUGH THE GAPING PLANE. WIND RUSHING THROUGHOUT THE PLANE LIKE A LARGE HIGH-POWERED FAN HAD BEEN SWITCHED TO HIGH

ANOTHER MINUTE LATER, THE FRONT OF THE PLANE BREAKS OFF AND IS NOW FALLING AND SPINNING THROUGH THE AIR WITHOUT CONTROL AND COMING TO A DEAD STOP AS IT HITS THE JUNGLE FLOOR***
