JACK
***Jack enters from G3 - Fuselage and Surrounding Area***
He stood outside his tent. He pinched his nose and took a deep breath, he was becoming more and more tired, and the heat and sun weren't helping much. He threw open the flap to his tent. He quickly looked around, realizing that his bag wasn't in there, "Damn-it," he said as he took off down the beach to find it.

JACK
***Jack enters from G3 - Area of Survivors Camp***
Jack entered his tent, still dripping with water. He stood motionless for a moment before he sat in the sand. He closed his eyes trying to get past what had just happened, but Jack knew it wouldn't be that easy. He took a deep breath and jumped up, throwing on a new shirt. He decided to head back to the camp to figure out who the woman was.

Jack, well aware that the other two decided to follow him, kept walking, hoping that they would understand Jack's stress and anxiety, and that they would leave him be.

CHARLIE
"We should put it in the tent, yeah?" he suggested, lugging the suitcase of water.
HURLEY
"Maybe the dog can find water," he said, offering another alternative.
CHARLIE
"Probably better if no one knows how little is left," he added. Hidden in Jack's tent, the water bottles would be out of sight, out of mind.
HURLEY
"I mean, dogs can find pot and bombs, so I'm sure they can find water," Hurley continued on his tangent.
CHARLIE
"If you tell the others we're running low, that way we could ration it," he said to Jack, setting down the suitcase. "Then you can decide--"

JACK
"I'm not deciding anything!" Jack snapped, finally letting the irritation of the two of them looking up to him, hit him on a personal level. Jack figured it was for their own good, like a kid who tries to get his dog to run away when it is in danger. They didn't want Jack to make decisions for the camp, he'd screw up to much.

HURLEY
"Well...why not?" he asked. Jack was smart doctor guy; he knew how to take care of everyone. He'd been doing so since they got there. Why should that change?

JACK
He stared at the two of them. Just a pause, nothing more. Jack didn't utter a sound. Jack blinked, breaking his focus. He instantly turned back and walked back towards the camp. There he paused. Finally alone to think things over.

BOONE
***Boone enters from F3 - Area of Survivors Camp***
Boone, trying not to draw attention to himself, snuck into Jack's tent. He grab the remaining water bottles and put them into a separate backpack, leaving the suitcase behind. He then closed it up an headed back towards the group.

***Severin, Gwen and James enter from G3 Jungle Outskirts***
Proceeding to the makeshift infirmary that Jack had set up on the beach, she and James tried to help Severin onto the reclined airplane seat that served as a patient bed. "Careful, careful," she said, as they lowered him onto the cushions and she extricated herself from his arm.
"At least you're off your feet now. I'd say that's a definite improvement," she smiled encouragingly, lowering Severin's bag to the sand and shrugging out of her own. Then she turned to James. "Any food or water about? We didn't exactly plan to be out overnight..."

Again, he ignored the pain as he was eased down onto the ground. "Thank you." he said, realizing he was saying it a lot.

"There should still be some lieing around from breakfast. Give me a minute."
And with that, James hurried out of Jack's shelter and into the midst of the camp.

((OOC: Is Leia still on her way? I don't want to ignore her if she is.))
"Thanks," she called after James. She felt a bit guilty for seemingly interrupting the conversation between him and the blonde woman, Leia, but then again it was a big island and there was lots of free time and surely there'd be plenty of other opportunities for them to talk.
"Home sweet home," she remarked flatly, sinking to the sand beside Severin. "So how are you feeling? And none of that stiff British upper lip rubbish; I want you to be brutally honest with me."

"So how are you feeling? And none of that stiff British upper lip rubbish; I want you to be brutally honest with me."
"Oh, I can't do that." he said with a little smile. "All I can do is...lie here and say I'm feeling absolutely amazing."
He squirmed slightly, tilting his head and looking at her. "Honestly, I'm feeling much better. I'll be up and walking and interfering with your life in no time.!

"Interfering with my life?" she repeated with a slight laugh. "I'm sure there are more interesting pasttimes. Not that I don't need the help; I think I've made it abundantly clear that I do. But you have only got the two legs...I don't want anyone else getting hurt because of me."

"Gwen, you need to stop being so hard on yourself. This..." he pointed to his wound. "Is in no way your fault. You couldn't have known there was an arrow trap in the middle of a jungle on an un-inhabited island. There was no possibility of you predicting that."

"See, there you go, being annoyingly logical again," she sighed. Though if she was intent on wallowing in self-pity and remorse, there was very little he could say or do to stop her. It was just...force of habit.
She looked past the tent flap to the crashing waves below. "That woman they said had drowned--Joanna," she said. "I don't remember her."

"That woman they said had drowned--Joanna, I don't remember her."
"Neither do I." he admitted. "I don't think I ever even met her." His eyes pierced hers intently. "And if you're about to start wondering why you didn't get to know her better or anything along those lines, I can tell you to stop right now."

She glanced back at him with a weak smile. "Am I that predictable?" she asked. "It seems like...just when you think you can cope, that you can make it one more day to rescue without losing anyone else, some new threat comes along. The howling growling thing, the traps, the wild boar, the water..."
She shook her head. "I wonder if John's hunting venture proved successful," she changed topics, hoping that something had gone right while they were away.

"It seems like...just when you think you can cope, that you can make it one more day to rescue without losing anyone else, some new threat comes along. The howling growling thing, the traps, the wild boar, the water..."
"And we'll deal with each new threat that comes along. The creature in the forest, we simply stay away from the deep jungle. The traps, we look where we walk, the wild boar, we hunt them. The water, it'll rain eventually." he said, trying to make her feel better. That was his real goal at the moment. Making Gwen feel better. Less stressed, less scared, less worried. "Believe me, if you learn one thing in the army...it's that sand gets in your boots no matter the situation, but you also learn that any new threat can be dealt with." He gave his best attempt at an encouraging smile.
"I wonder if John's hunting venture proved successful,"
"I'm certain he was." said Severin with a great deal of conviction. He wasn't usually the voice of optimism, so it was difficult. Luckily, he was at least the voice of reason, and reasonably Locke would've succeeded. "He appears to be highly experienced and physically fit. Most likely, they weren't a problem. We'll probably be having pork tonight."
