Ana Lucia's Shelter Location found in box F3 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

With all that had happened, Ana-Lucia hadn't had time to build herself a proper shelter. A roof over her head wasn't her prioirty at the moment. In fact she hadn't really taken care of herself at all. Old habits had resurfaced, and she found herself taking the lead and helping others instead, like she had done when she was on the force. In a way it was comforting to know she wasn't so completely dead inside as she imagined. Though when she thought about it, the need to be in charge and concentrate on what was happening to other people meant she could ignore her own problems and deflect her guilt. Question was, how long could she keep it up before the weight of her guilt overwhelmed her?
So, while others settled into their makeshift tents, after returning from the jungle last night she had simply found herself a spare blanket and fallen asleep on the beach by a small fire someone had lit earlier. Unlike the night before, she didn't find it hard to drift off. Exhaustion did most of the work for her, she just closed her eyes and in moments she was asleep.
She dreamt about the events of the night before, of leading Jake through the jungle with a torch lit by the fire in the fuselage. They had talked a little as she tried to remember the way back to where she'd found him yesterday. She found it easy to talk to him, like she'd known him for years. More than once he'd brought a smile to her face. Something that had become a rarity these days.
When they finally found the right place, the girl was still exactly where they'd left her. Still fastened into the plane seat that was now at the foot of the tree rather than stuck in it's branches. Though, by the light of the torch, she looked more eerie than Ana remembered. She'd asked Jake who she was, but the only real answers he gave, were that her name was Marie, and that if it hadn't been for him, she'd still be alive. Sensing the guilt he felt over whatever had happened, she didn't push the matter. If he wanted to tell, he would do it in his own time.
They had decided to take care of Marie where she was, rather than bringing her back to the camp. So between them, they'd built up a smaller funeral pyre and Ana had handed the torch to Jake so he could be the one to lay her to rest. She stood back a little to give him some time, and when he was ready, she'd follwed him back to camp again. On the return journey, they didn't talk so much, but the silence between them was never uncomfortable.
At this point in her dream, where in reality they simply returned to the beach, Ana found herself losing sight of Jake in the darkness. She broke into a sprint to catch up but he'd disappeared out of sight. She called his name, but there was no answer. Frantically, she ran through the trees, her arms brushing the overhanging leaves out of her way in an attempt to see where she was going, when all of a sudden, she ran into a figure from her past and a dreadful sound rang out. A gunshot.
Ana woke with a start, her hand instinctively pressed against her stomach before she realised it had only been a dream.
