The crash site where the mid-section of the plane, or fuselage, is located, as well as the area surrounding the fuselage. Location found in box G3 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

***ENTER JAMIE FROM JAMIE'S SHELTER***
Jamie came back to her favorite spot on the island and sat there once again. She didn't feel like going somewhere else again. She really missed eating, but she really didn't want to go around asking people where it was. Once again, Jamie simply stared at the ocean, as if a boat or plane would just come on the horizon. She repeatedly imagined one of those coming up on the ocean, landing on the island, and Seth being on it. She imagined him coming and sweeping her into his arms, kissing her, telling her how much he loved her, and never letting her go. But the more days they were there, the more she tried to face the fact they weren't coming.

Jamie looked towards the camp. Things seemed to be rather...normal, considering the morning's events. She saw the man who'd been pulled out of the ocean, the one who'd tried to save the woman. He was staring at the ocean; a rather good pastime. Jamie guessed at saying that was Shannon's brother, Boone. Gathering her courage, she stood up.

***Hurley and Jack enter from G3 Camp***
HURLEY
"Show him," he said to Charlie, who was carrying a suitcase.
CHARLIE
"Say hello to the last of our water supply," he stated, placing the case full of water bottles on the sand in front of Jack.

JACK
"Show him,"
He looked at Hurley, then at Charlie.
"Say hello to the last of our water supply,"
Jack watched Charlie open the case. He looked down at the case full of water bottles, and despite the fact that it was full of water, there wasn't much there. The last thing Jack wanted was the water supply to run out. Now the camp would have to be informed that there was a woman who drowned and that if someone doesn't find food they'll all be joining her shortly. "That's it?" Jack ask hoping the answer was no, but that was a stretch.

CHARLIE
"That's it," he answered, crossing his arms. "Eighteen bottles."
HURLEY
"People just kind of took what they needed, 'cause...we were supposed to be rescued" he added apologetically. "...but we weren't."
CHARLIE
"Even if we divvied it up, split the bottles in half, it wouldn't be enough for forty-seven people," he said.

"46," Jack replied solemnly, "There's 46 of us now."

HURLEY
"Oh...yeah," he said softly, reminded of the drowning woman earlier. But trying to draw Jack's attention back to the problem at hand. "If people find out this is all we have left, they're gonna freak out, man."
CHARLIE
"The boar's running low until we can catch another one," he said, ticking off the next item on the freakout-inducing list. "What should we tell them?"

JACK
"What should we tell them?"
"I don't know..." Jack replied truthfully, hoping that they would find someone else to be making decisions for the camp. Jack knew that after what happened with Joanna he wouldn't be able to help them.

"Maybe we can make one of those water-finding sticks," he offered optimistically.
CHARLIE
"What should we do with the stuff we got?" he continued to ask Jack.

JACK
"What should we do with the stuff we got?"
"I don't know!" Jack replied, practically yelling at them in annoyance. Not wanting to continue the conversation, Jack turned around and left the two of them as he headed towards his tent.

***Kate and Sayid enter from F3 - Area of Survivor's Camp***
KATE
Kate tried to come up with a logical reason for them to have taken the water. "It makes sense that it might've been them. They don't speak English. They don't know what's going on; with the water shortage and everything else," she said as they neared the Korean couple. But still, did they have to take all the bottles?

SAYID
Locke had been right. When people started to realize that there wasn't any water left, things would get ugly. Already there had been many 'close calls' amongst the survivors. First food hoarding and now water hoarding. Things had started this way in Iraq when the Americans had imposed their comprehensive sanctions. Aid from the Saudis and other Sunni-led countries had made it past the blockades from time-to-time. But when it did, chaos would be unleashed as the various factions vied to feed their people before all the others. Order had to be maintained and, sometimes, a bit of ruthless was necessary to do that. Being 'mean' was preferable to allowing anarchy to reign.
Resolved to not go soft, Sayid stormed towards the Korean woman who was alone on the beach and drinking a bottle of water. "Where did you get this? Where did you get this?"
She didn't reply. And this did little to help Sayid's mood.
"Where did you get this?!" He yelled.

KATE
When she saw his angry expression, she'd reached out to stop him but he was already beyond her reach. Kate rushed up and put a hand on his arm as she came to Sun's defense. "She doesn't understand you, Sayid."

SAYID
"She doesn't understand you, Sayid."
Sayid wouldn't be deterred by the woman's silent treatment nor by Kate's half-hearted protest. The East Asian woman's expression did little to hide a trace of understanding. There was the discomfort that would have been induced by someone yelling at you no matter the language that the yelling was being done in. But in her eyes was a strong sense of guilt as if she knew full well of what he was asking her and also knew full well that by drinking the bottle of water while everyone else went without any hydration was wrong- she understood what he was saying to some extent, that much was certain. Yet somehow she took him for some kind of idiot who could be suckered in by faking an expression of blissful ignorance.
"She understands me." He said to the East Asian woman just as much as he said to Kate.
"Did you steal this water?" He asked slowly and in a very serious tone, indicating the bottle.

SUN
Sun calmly started to explain in Korean, going on in full detail as if Sayid could understand her.
JIN
When he heard the shouting, he turned to see Sayid standing closer to Sun than Jin liked and shouting at her. It angered him to see someone speak to his wife in that manner though he himself had been speaking to her in that manner more and more lately. This was going too far now. Jin interrupted Sun's explanation with shouts in Korean. He stepped angrily between Sun and Sayid and got in Sayid's face as he continued to speak in Korean. Jin shook off Sun's hand from his arm, meant to calm him but her attempt failed.
KATE
Looking between the two, Kate was starting to get a bad feeling. Tempers were flaring up really quickly. "Okay, just take it easy, all right?" she said, having to speak loud to be heard over Jin.
Jin silenced and the two men seemed to be engaged in a glaring contest. Kate sighed. "We just want to talk, all right?" Kate took the empty water bottle from Sayid and showed it to Jin. "This had water in it," she pointed to the water bottle in her hands. "Is it yours?"
Jin's response was to look down at the empty bottle then back at Sayid. Kate regained his attention. "Who gave you this?"
Jin gave in enough to suddenly point to his right. Kate turned to see Sawyer sitting on the sand, smoking a cigarette. She should have known. Why it didn't occur to her sooner she didn't know. Kate rolled her eyes and started toward Sawyer, pushing her way between Jin and Sayid.

SAYID
He followed Jin's indication with his eyes. Sawyer- typically posing with a cigarette in his hand, smoking and just passing time. But he didn't see any water in Sawyer's possession. Confronting the man now would accomplish nothing. In fact, it would tip Sawyer off that others also knew of his stash and he would take great care to secure it so that no one would ever be able to find it unbidden.
Sayid placed a firm hand on Kate's shoulder to stop her. "I don't see the water." Surely she knew that it would be a fool's errand to engage Sawyer now.

KATE
Kate followed the hand on her shoulder to Sayid's face. Well of course they didn't see the water. Sawyer wouldn't put it on display or flaunt it. Yes, he was cocky but he was not stupid. "And?" she asked, slightly annoyed at being stopped when she'd built up the steam for a good argument with the camp's pack rat.
