Jungle outskirts near the fuselage where some things from the plane may have landed. Location found in box G4 below: Each box is 3 miles by 3 miles. It takes an hour to walk 3 miles. But also keep in mind that hiking (like that really steep hill to get to higher ground) will take a heck of a lot longer and that if you're running (like from some jungle thing), that you'll get somewhere faster.

JACK
***Jack enters from his tent carrying the marshal by his hands followed by Ana carrying him by his feet***
He stopped and looked around the area, "I guess here is as good a place as any," he said lowering the marshal's lifeless body. "Huh," he uttered, "We don't have shovels do we?"

Ana-Lucia let go of the Marshall's legs, leaving his body lying ontop of a small sandy ridge overlooking the ocean. It was a quiet spot, a little way off from the main camp. She put her hands on her hips for a moment and took in the view. It crossed her mind that if she were ever to be buried on this island, this was as good a place as any.
"We don't have shovels do we?"
Stolen from the moment, she turned and looked at Jack, then at the sand at his feet.
"Well, we could dig by hand but that'll take ages." She paused to think for a second. "We need something to use as a shovel." Her gaze searched the beach around them and finally rested on the jungle behind her.
"I bet we could make some from the large bamboo branches...if we had a knife."

JACK
"Well..." Jack paused, "Since we don't have a knife either, doing it by hand seems to be sounding better and better," Jack stated in as pleasant of a tone as possible, considering his current situation.

"Where's that little girl Sarah when you need her, huh." Ana remarked with a lop sided smile. "That kid managed to gather her own little workforce to help her build that sandcastle yesterday." With a little hesitation, she knelt down in the sand and started scooping handfuls away to make a hole.

** Vincent enters from G3 Area of Survivors' Camp**
Vincent approached the man's body, jumping up so as to smell him over the sandy ridge. His first thought was that the man may be sleeping, but he smelled too bad for that. The man was neither alive nor a potential second breakfast. Both dissapointed him.

JACK
After a lot of time and effort, Jack and Ana finally had the marshal buried. The two of them really didn't talk, Jack was not in the mood for talking, he just wanted to move things along so he could sit alone for a while and think. Of course he greatly appreciated Ana's help, it was nice to have someone to be around that didn't make Jack feel as though he had to talk about random nonsense.
Jack sat back as he pated down the last bit of the grave. He felt he should say something, but he couldn't think of anything. He sat for a few minutes, and then stood up to leave. "Thank you," he said to Ana with a serious face, "I just...I gotta find somewhere where I can be alone for a while." Jack paused, "I'll see ya later." He felt kinda bad just walking away from Ana after how much she helped, but Jack felt there was nothing left to say or do for a while, and that Ana probably had things to do as well. Jack walked away quiet and emotionless.

Vincent's ears suddenly pricked up; there was commotion down on the beach. He turned, temporarily abandoning his search for food and headed in the direction of this appaling racket.

SAWYER
***Sawyer enters from G3 - Fuselage***
Walking through the jungle, he finally reached the spot. He kneeled down in the dirt, looking back to check that no one had followed him. Then he lifted up the dark-colored suitcase cover that blended in so well with the jungle floor and served to conceal his personal stash of various and valuable items. He tossed in the pack of cigarettes that Gwen had given him, along with the can of bug repellent that Shannon had passed on. Maybe she'd change her mind after a couple dozen more bug bites.
He closed the suitcase cover on his stash and turned to stand up.

***Kate enters from G3 - Fuselage and Surrounding Area***
KATE
She'd snuck up quietly and watched from behind a tree as Sawyer dug through his stash. She felt a sudden surge of annoyance at him that she couldn't explain. Why did he effect her like that? Because he's a self centered asshole, she told herself, pushing back any other feelings that may have been stirring. As soon as he stood and turned around, Kate couldn't stop herself. She ran at him and tackled him to the ground. Her landing hadn't been too bad, thanks to the fact Sawyer had taken most of the impact but she was still a little winded. She scowled down at him as she tried to get her breath back.

SAWYER
Before he knew what was happening, a brunette blur had come charging out of the trees and pushed him to the ground. His confused frown turned into a smirk as he looked up into her green eyes. Downside being that Kate now knew where his stash was; upside being that Kate had him pinned down while she was on top of him.
"Well, it's about time," he remarked, turning the tables in his favor. "I made this birthday wish four years ago."

KATE
"Well, it's about time,"
"For what?" she asked, momentarily thrown off of her reason for being in such a precarious position.
"I made this birthday wish four years ago."
That typical Sawyer response put her right back on track. It also made her very aware of her current position but she didn't quickly moving away as was her first thought to do as it would give Sawyer the satisfaction of seeing he'd gotten to her. She ignored his baiting and demanded, "Where's the water?"

SAWYER
"Where's the water?"
Water? Why the hell would she think he had water? He furrowed his brow as she continued a surprisingly strong hold on him. Hating to be at a disadvantage, verbally or physically, he took advantage of a slight ease in her grip and rolled her over so that he was on top.
"That's better," he smirked down at her, trying to pin her struggling arms.

KATE
She was taken by surprise as she was flipped onto her back the very second she eased on her grip. "Get off of me," she said through gritted teeth as she squirmed around, trying to prevent him from pinning her arms so she could push him off her.

SAYID
He found the whole matter a bit odd. But, then again, this Sawyer fellow always acted a bit... odd.
Sayid reached out and dragged the other man off of Kate nonchalantly.
"Give us the water now." It was an order and the tone left no margin for mistaking it to be a suggestion. It implied that the only available option was compliance.

SAWYER
He found himself pulled upward and pushed aside, spinning round to see Sayid giving him a stern look. Great, now she had Muhammad as a sidekick. He shoved him in return, not at all ready to back down.
"Touch me again, huh? Do you really think I stole your damn water?" he grunted in frustration.

KATE
As soon as she was free of Sawyer's weight, she scrambled up and started going through the suitcases cleverly buried in the sand.

SAYID
He resisted Sawyer's attempt to escalate the conflict to blows with his push. Nothing would be accomplished by fighting. In fact, it would steel the other man's will to not tell anyone where the water was hidden.
Sayid kept his cool. He narrowed his eyes and stated simply, "We know you gave two bottles to the Koreans."
